I was debating between giving two or three stars. I went with three only because of the milkshake and the one friendly waiter who served us.
Let me start off by saying the food was not AWFUL, but considering the price point and the fact that gordon's name is on the restaurant it was HIGHLY disappointing.
There was quite a long wait to be seated, despite reservations which I sort of understand as it was busy and perhaps covid times means it takes longer to disinfect everything properly. However, it has been a couple months of COVID so I would imagine everyone is used to the situation and should technically be able to handle it well. Regardless, we were seated eventually. We initially wanted the chicken wings, the lobster and prawn burger and the american (or a name along those lines), however we were told they were sold out of the chicken wings, no longer had the cheese for the american burger but could replace with another, and they had also runout of the lobster and prawn burger amongst a few other things. Although a shame, if anything I was slightly optimistic as it suggested all the food was fresh and was indicative that the kitchen wasn't over-stocking. With some minor changes and adjustments we ordered the chicken burger (referred to by a different name on the menu) and the american burger with a different cheese as well as two portions of fries.
That's when the wait started...it took 45-50 minutes for the food to come. By the time it was there we had finished our drinks, considered re ordering but decided against since even our drinks had taken a while to come. Should we have re-ordered drinks it would have come by the time we were finished with our food š . Had to wait an extra few minutes for the fries to come but only one portion did. The other came when we were half way through our food. Looking around (we had PLENTY of spare time to do so) we had noticed this was a recurring theme. Fries would almost never arrive with the burgers and once they did they wouldn't all arrive at the same time. E.g., one person would get fries, others had to wait ten minutes, then the next person received theirs etc etc. I don't understand how it can be so difficult to coordinate frying potatoes...it is literally done in batches. That being said once we received both portions the fries were really great. Lovely and crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. Not sure whether they were Ā£6 good but they were good. The burgers were a massive let down. They were lukewarm and incredibly dry. Something i forgot to point out earlier was we were never asked how we would like the beef burger i.e. rare, medium, well done etc. Maybe they only served well done because that is what we got in the end. Dry, hardly any juices and the flavour was nothing special. I think we ordered quite classic burgers. I wasn't expecting this crazy invention. I was expecting a beef burger and chicken burger done RIGHT. I wanted a standard every day burger elevated a little bit and it just wasn't. If anything, I would be happier eating a Byron or GBK burger. They are juicier and more flavoursome (and ask how you'd like your meat cooked). Such a shame.
Again, knowing the service took a lifetime and taking into consideration the kitchen would be closing we were advised by the staff to order dessert should we want it toward the end of our meal. Thank God we ordered when we did because it took another 20 minutes for a MILKSHAKE to get out to us. š That being said, I am incredibly glad I ordered the creme brulee and oreo milkshake. It was the saving grace of the meal. They had actually gone the extra mile and flame torched the creme brulee on top of the milkshake. That is exactly what I mean when I say I expected classics to be done well. We ordered an average oreo milkshake but what we got was just something much greater than what you would get elsewhere. It was creamy with bits of oreo. The final verdict: over priced for what it is. Highly disappointing. Would i come back again? No. Maybe for...

Situated on the fourth floor of the iconic Harrods, this restaurant redefines the classic burger with the perfect blend of creativity, quality, and culinary expertise.
The menu, curated by the world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, offers a diverse selection of gourmet burgers that are anything but ordinary. Each burger is a symphony of flavors, made from top-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. I opted for the Hellās Kitchen Burger, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The patty was juicy and seasoned to perfection, topped with a rich combination of roasted jalapeƱos, avocado, and mozzarella cheese. Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, blending just the right amount of heat with the freshness of the ingredients.
Not only are the burgers amazing, but the sides are equally impressive. The Truffle Parmesan Fries were crispy and indulgent, with just the right amount of truffle flavor ā a perfect complement to the burger. ā¦and the onion rings, to die for! š¤¤
Service at Gordon Ramsay Burger is impeccable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and well-versed in the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure a flawless experience, making helpful recommendations and checking in without being intrusive.
To finish, I couldnāt resist trying the Sticky Toffee Shake, which was the perfect dessert in a glass ā smooth, creamy, and with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the ideal way to round off a fantastic meal.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreBig Gordon fan over here! So Mr Ramsey Iām sorry but I was expecting so much more! We popped in and tried out a few bits.. the original cheese burger was a obvious choice to compare with others .. and this was the one that let it down for me.. bread ratio was way off, I felt I was eaten a bread roll , filling wasnāt there for such a chunky bun! Ingredients however where great, but the ratio was just way off and made it dry.
Now the lobster burger, most expensive burger on the menu but no complaints here, worth every penny! This delightful! Very nice all worked well and the bun was perfect for the filling of the burger. 10/10 on this sir!
Hot dog- yea ok itās a hot dog , itās fancy has some ox cheek in there adds some punch , I liked it , but it donāt blow my mind! Wouldnāt of made safety net material on master chef , letās just say that. The best word to use was average and I didnāt enjoy the flowers on top, this was random ott business.
Oreo and crĆØmeb milkshake⦠decent! I did enjoy this , Iāve got a sweet tooth so right up my street. But this lacked presentation, I mean come on when you read it on the menu it blow my mind, when it turnt up on the table it was super let down visually! But I wonāt knowck the taste, the taste was good.
Fries- yea nice fries , nice and light perfect fries šš¼Spot on.
To some up in a nut shell, I still love you but this place needs some work before I come back for round two. I must also finish by saying the staff where fantastic, attentive, friendly and smiling, this is important to me and they done very well all round, big credit.
Iāve added my photos below for a cheeky gander. Worth a try , but with some Gordon fine criticism this place could be special spot again.
Thanks for...
