I been there for an order . The order was incomplete and I raised this with Mr Hussain who said that the order was picked by Subo and checked personally by him(Mr Mohammad Hussain). The order was missing items and this was confirmed by Mr M Hussain and there was present a customer who provided with his phone number ( the Customer witnessed that order was incorrect) - the order was imperfect. I requested Mr Hussain and Subo for the complaint book and Subo directed me to Mr Hussain. Mr Hussain informed that he was working for 17 years ‘that he was not an angel’- I informed that no angel was expected out of him but with his 17 years of service the order was incorrect and it was a shame.
I informed him that the order was incorrect and his 17 years of experience and that of Subo (in whose name the order was taken) are irrelevant and asked for the contact details of store manager and the regional manager. Mr Hussain asked me to make any complaints online and informed that his manager is Mr Chellan and his regional manager is Nazam but do not want to provide their full details including contact details. Mr Hussain asked me to make complaint online as the store’s complaint book was full of complaints and no pages were left and he cannot take any (expression of dissatisfaction) verbally.
This was a surprise and again referred Mr Hussain of his derogatory words and that of Subo which he asked me to raise with management if I can.
I was mislead in terms of the price of the item and when I asked I was asked to speak to the Kfc and when the item was incorrect I was denied the items and further was asked to contact KFC head office online and was not provided with the number of the store and or regional manager.
With this attitude I guess complaining to store or regional managers wouldn’t have made any difference.
What I gather is more staff are made to be available on the roster by mr Hussain and Mr Chellan and there are less people working during the shifts as there are always more people waiting and the orders are imperfect.
At one time I asked for 2 fillet burgers and Subo provided me with incorrect VAT invoice for the items ordered and Mr Hussain was not concerned with this when I raised. This is tax evasion in terms of HMRC’s code of conduct.
Only 1 till was open today. Mr H and Mr C are benefitting personally, mr h Is not concerned about customers so did Subo.
I guess Mr Chellan and Mr Hussain is having more people on roster but less number of people are working than the scheduled that the orders are always imperfect.
Mr Chellan and Mr Hussain are benefiting out of imperfect and incorrect orders as they have less number of people working but have personal benefits for the same reason as the order was missing items which is being sold separately to other customers. Shameful creatures who do not worry about customers.
DISHONEST CHELLAN/ CHEATING HUSSAIN- DECEITFUL SUBO in short!
Ineffective in operation- insensitive to comment and incapable in all the sense
Mr Hussain and Subo are laughing stocks of this business...
Read moreMy order was a zinger stacked box meal, with 2 wings, and i upgraded to loaded fries.
The fries - i saw them make it, pretty straightforward, just popcoarn chicken over fries then some sauces. The sauces were bland and flavourless, just kinda meshed together to some kind of bland but also kinda slop. The actual fries - good god for whatever reason, kfc have never been able to make good fries. Mashed potato has a better texture.
On to the burger - decent, zinger should be the default for kfc, get rid of the original recipe burger, and chicken and make everything zinger, not spicy but has a enough spice to where it warms the tongue, which is why i think it should be original then they should have a spicy as well. The hashbrown in the burger was overcooked, borderline burnt, but was somehow completely crunchless.. and tasted more of grease than potat. But i’ll give credit to kfc they dress their burgers well, good amount of mayo, good amount of lettuce.
Now the big disappointment. THE WINGS. Back in our day, kfc wings would take 1 bite to get theough the insane amount of batter, then another to taste the chicken. Those days are gone and i honestly don’t know how to feel about it. While it was nice, the batter of old was so well seasoned and actually packed a bit of a kick, definitely more than i would expect from a main mainstream chain’s “hot”. And the amount of batter gave it a uniqueness, guaranteed crunch, and no where was doing up wings that well coated in flour. (This was the time before we had so many “gourmet” chicken shops - why u despise them is a story for another day).
The wings i had today. While i appreciate less batter, especially as they survived me walking home, changing and then eating them, still crunchy, texturally, and looks wise, they look like any old bossman chicken shop’s wings, which is a bit of a let down. I opened my box when i got home and i thought, hmm didnthey forget to bread these wings? They looked small and naked. The seasoning is where things really plummeted.
You know how some spicy things have like a bitterness to them cause they’re so heavily spiced? Well these wings, skipped the spiciness and overloaded on the bitter. Spice level, they were warm, definitely wouldn’t satisfy any craving for spiciness. But the bitter flavour was immense i don’t know if they were due an oik change, or the factory just toasted their cayenne too long before adding it, but it just didnt taste right. I contemplating a 6 wing meal, and i’m glad i didnt cause i dont think i couldve finished.
There is good though, the gravy has improved a lot. Significantly less salt forward, and complemented everything well. Well seasoned, flavourful, and honestly dipping those 2 wings into the gravy is what saved them.
Also ballygowan water is one of the best brands out. So the...
Read moreHonestly, I cant believe people still use this KFC. Sometimes you can queue for 30 mins! It's meant to be a fast food shop. And dare anyone complain to the staff , they literally could not care less and are so rude. To be fair they're just so rude in general...how has this gone on for so long ??I've never known staff to shout and swear back at customers. People don't go to KFC to argue with the staff but end up walking out fuming, it should be fast food ! And don't ask for sauces its painfull, I guess it comes out of there wages or something !! I'm not being funny but you spend nearly seven pounds on a meal and you ask for more than one flavour sauce/sachet, it's like you're taking food out of their kids mouth . Just needs sorting out please. The lady who is normally serving needs to fix up and smile or leave her job. She'll put the happiest person in a bad mood. It seems they are contracted to fulfill just eat or deliveroo orders before actual customers, which is fine but dedicate one person to online orders and one too face to face. Good chicken......
