Pizza E17 — Restaurant in London

By far the worst experience I've ever had with any delivery in all my years in London, or any in other city for that matter. They told me it would take 20-30 minutes; it took an hour and 20 minutes for their in-house person to come (It wasn't through a delivery service), even though I live only a 9-minute drive from them according to Google Maps. When I was waiting and waiting, I tried calling them, but they didn't even pick up the phone at first -- in the middle of the afternoon. Then when the guy finally arrived, a) no apology -- even when I pointed out that the food was an hour late, b) he said he was being nice by coming up one floor to my flat and that he was "making an exception", and c) I gave him cash, as agreed by phone, but guess what: he had no change. But wait, there's more! He berated ME for not having change, and he said he was going to bring the food back to the restaurant. (Yes, really.) After verbally attacking me for several minutes, I insisted we call the restaurant. I didn't know how else to end this nightmare. So, after berating me for another few minutes, he finally calls the restaurant and tells them, "He wants to keep the pizza AND the money!" So I had to scream at his phone to tell them he was flat out lying to my face. Finally the restaurant told him to just give me the damn pizzas, and he told me how terrible I was as he left. Good riddance to him and this pizza shop. I'm glad I'll never have to deal...

Firstly, I'm only giving a star so I can leave a comment, you don't deserve any stars! I ordered a pizza at 00:00am I was told I'd have it in 40mins. An HOUR later I call back and I'm told to wait 15mins, 15mins later I call back and get fobbed off again andtold to wait 10mins! After nearly 2hrs of waiting my pizza arrives, stone cold!! My ice creams more or less completely melted?!! Now I've been ordering from you guys for just over a year, and every single order I've made there's been issues! Whether it's cold food, half cooked food, over charged food, long waiting times, rude staff, or wrong orders and I am fed up of it!!! I genuinely hoped you'd change because I liked your pizzas when they're cooked right but yoube got worser! I will never come back...

I just placed an order through deliveroo and it is literally the most expensive pizza for what it actually is. I ordered the pesto pizza which in theory has pesto, tomato, olives and artichoke. I suppose you haven't even read the wikipedia page on what pesto is like, but on my pizza there were 3 micro-pieces of basil and literally ONE cherry tomato cut into 4 pieces. Twelve pounds?
