🌟🌟🌟 - Good spot for a quick bite of lunch! I only had 1 dish from their menu, but it was clear they're aiming for authentic flavours. One of the owners of this joint is from the Carribbean island country of Antigua and Barbuda 🇦🇬 so you'll find a lot of Caribbean influences in the choice of food 🌶️🍗👌🏽 The dude who served me was really accommodating and the choice of sweeting areas were plentiful! I had the jerk chicken salad and would advise NOT going for their smaller portion as your main (unless you only want a snack) as the size of that was more like a side dish than a main meal. The biggest offering certainly had plenty of chicken 🍗, good amount of spice 🌶️, pineapple 🍍, greens 🥗 with some seeds too. Only thing I may want to improve on would be how vinegary and sour the dressing was. Maybe curb that back a bit.

It’s such a shame Uber eats just really let anyone on there app these were the worst tacos I’ve had in my life if you want real Birria tacos go to the Taco collective In box park or meat heads in Camden. These tacos just tasted like chilli that’s all i could taste apart from another weird flavour I don’t even know how to describe it and they looked burnt I had one bite and it went in the bin wouldn’t even give it to my dog to eat. These are most definitely not Birria tacos the tittle and the picture on Uber eats is so misleading and the consommé was a weird consistency it was like jelly didn’t even want to taste that will not be ordering tacos from here again waste of my money.

Our favourite place in Exmouth Market, whether it be for a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner or an afternoon of whiling away the hours with a bottle of wine (or two). The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and friendly, likewise the staff, many of whom we have got to know by name. Food is great. We especially love the haloumi fries. We take all our friends there when they come down this way and they all, young and old, love the place. It's also doggie friendly and our dog is always welcome and very at home there. Highly recommended. Edited to add that we popped in for an ice cream this afternoon. The black coconut is to die for.

I wanted to like this place based on the reviews but I can't in good faith claim it was great.

Starting with the positives: The staff were all nice friendly people, and the seating is a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails were also good.

However the food portions were all universally tiny. I expected my vegetarian fry up to come with bread or some sort of carbs, but it didn't. It was just a small portion of beans, egg, spinach and halloumi (the halloumi was good however). I was still hungry so ordered some fries which never came.

One of my friends had ordered French toast. She received two very hard pieces of bread that had been turned into a hardened waffle, placed on a plate. It was so tough she couldn't even break into it with her knife and fork. I complained and had it remade. We were told they hadn't realised their "machine was broken", implying it came from a sort of waffle machine, and had it redone properly (which wasn't much better in terms of food but at least it was edible). Putting aside that's the sort of answer I'd expect to hear at Wetherspoons, it begs the question of what the experience level of the chef is to let something like that leave the kitchen

Overall, while the staff were nice, and I liked their cocktails, food wise the place was an odd experience that I cannot in good faith recommend it.

Edit: I read some other reviews and as I understand the place is aiming for "tapas" style breakfast dishes so that you order more than one. In this case the staff should have made this clear or it should have been written...

Not a frequent review writer, and I'm an American tourist so apply a grain of salt here.

Stopped in because the place was empty and the menu looked like we could cobble something together for our picky kids (4, 9, 11).

Upon being seated we noted that the vibe was pretty cool, and were surprised there weren't more people there. We ordered cocktails and they were lights out (I got half moon bae and the Mrs got something with gin like a sophistcate). So far, so good.

Server was outstanding, checking on us, making recommendations, etc. Genuinely seemed to be glad to have us at her table. Awesome.

Our order: cheesus burger, fries, cheese fries, wings (3 different flavors), tenders, and some crunchy corn stuff off the snack menu.

Burger was substantial, great flavor, well cooked. Wings were on the small side but all seasoned/sauced well, everything we got was tasty. Do you review fries? I guess. The fries were good...no real notes. Corn things were also fun. 1/3 of the kids liked them as well. The chicken tenders were more like schnitzel: thin, panko breaded, fried. The pieces I stole from unsuspecting children were tender and tasted great.

This isn't a fine dining establishment, but the cocktails are delightful and the food works. Great place to hang out to start your night, and fine for...

Completely Disorganized – No Sense of Control

I visited this place recently, and I have to say it was one of the most disorganized experiences I’ve had. There were around 15 tables outside and 5 inside—not a huge setup by any means—yet the staff looked completely overwhelmed and unsure of what they were doing.

It wasn’t even busy when I arrived, but the service was incredibly slow and chaotic. ( a hot summer evening)

This place might have potential with better management and proper staffing, but right now it’s a frustrating mess. Definitely not somewhere I’d return to or recommend unless major changes are made

Beyond the disorganization, what really stood out—and not in a good way—was the overall atmosphere. It didn’t feel inclusive or welcoming at all. As someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, I couldn’t help but feel like we were being subtly dismissed or overlooked. There was a noticeable lack of acknowledgment and basic courtesy that made it feel like this place is stuck in the past, still figuring out how to treat people with respect and equality.

It’s 2025, and there’s really no excuse for this kind of tone-deaf service—especially when everything else is already falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously rethink their staffing, training,...
