Slightly baffled by my first visit to this restaurant. I asked the "manager" which of their chicken was grilled (Unbreadcrumbed), as most of their photos on the blown up photos were of fried chicken. The manager spoke very little English, which doesn't really matter to me, as I don't really mind taking extra time to explain things. However, she outrightly said "we don't do that", to which I was confused because I saw someone eating one. I had to ask another member of staff, who was also not English, but after some extra time explaining she understood and suggested what was grilled. Brilliant. They then immediately began conversing in their native language (which I think is rude because I don't know what they are talking about and if its in relation to my food). I had got what I wanted (after 5 minutes of ordering), so I was relatively happy, the meals on the photos looked really lovely and nice salad etc, so great. However, when I got my wrap, there was no salad in it whatsoever... Actually, there was no salad in any of the food... It was not a chargeable extra, it was not asked if I didn't want any, if just wanted there. After my first encounter with the counter team, I just didn't bother to say anything. The portion was fairly small and I just find with the hassle id rather Eat 4 a Little More, because at least for 10p extra I can order in my own language without being cut off for speaking it, have food live up the expectations of ordering it and of course actually feel welcome. This store needs a major change. I gave two stars, instead of one, as the second lady who I spoke to about the chicken was very nice to me and very helpful, despite not being fully able to understand what I meant, she made the extra effort and that's very nice and great...

The attitude of Ladybank the front desk was horrible.
I am vegetarian. Ordered Cheese and Salad baguette.
They prepare everything in the kitchen behind the counter which you can see while waiting for your order.
To my surprise there is not separate counters for Veg and Non-veg inside the kitchen.
When the gentleman prepared my baguette, he didn't change the gloves. So, when the lady gave it to me, I asked, did he change the gloves? I explained that I am vegetarian.
And the lady's answers were not clear and her face expressions were disgusting. Finally, she asked the guy in the kitchen to prepare the new one and arrogantly thrown the baguette in the bin with anger.
Guy prepared new baguette for me but this time it was cold when I touched it. I am saying this because the first time it was very warm.
I paid for it but didn't eat it.
AVOID IF YOU ARE VEGAN...
Read moreI have been here numerous times with my partner as an easy lunch option. You'd think that the cheaper prices mean a lower quality of food, but this couldn't be further from the truth. The menu is varied and each item is tasty in its own right. I highly recommend the loaded fries - they are surprisingly decadent!
The premises are small and can get rightly packed considering how popular this place is. The tables are a little close together and the tall seats aren't the most comfortable either. They could definitely do with a slightly larger customer floor space. However, this being said, the place is generally pretty clean and has a bright, modern feel to it. The staff are lovely and very professional, can't fault them. Overall, superb choice for breakfast or...
