I went with my friend for dinner. We ordered kebabs and Lamb tikka masala curry. The kebabs were ok but the meat in lamb tikka was uncooked and we were unable to break the meat pieces. We told the lady on the counter who hesitantly took it back. After few minutes we were given the curry back. This time I used a spoon to check if the meat was tender but I was unable to break the piece again. We told the lady again who told the chef who then tried to give the excuse that the meat maybe mixed meat and not pure lamb meat and that is the reason it's not tender. He probably forgot that it was them who bought the meat and not us and that he should have checked if the meat was tender before serving the dish. He took the curry back and brought it back after few minutes. This time we were able to break the pieces but there was no taste in the curry. The naans were cold by this time, we hardly managed to eat. We didn't make any fuss there and just left. You know where you are looking online for an Indian takeaway, you're seeing if they have consistent reviews that must mean the place is probably alright. Right? Well that wasnt the case here, I ordered a chicken tikka masala, it tasted very cheesy not like tikka masala at all. Only the chicken was good. I also got egg fried rice, I'm a guy who likes my salt but this was insane it tasted 10x saltier than what they put on in the chippy! Lastly, I ordered a peshwari naan. Genuinely think they seasoned it with liquorice it actually didn't taste like peshwari at all. As Muslims we are told to be grateful for food but I have to say, it is not nice when you pay for something and the quality is this poor. Free advice- if you’d like good reviews and loyal customers, please improve your food quality. The lamb dish was not lamb. It tasted like chewy beef.
