Yummy Pot — Restaurant in Southampton

My brother (a frequent visitor) took me to Yummy Pot after raving about it for months! My expectations were high. It did not disappoint!

The service was brilliant!! We were made to feel really welcome by Helen, the owner. The flavour of the hot pot (I had the medium spicy) was soooo good! I loved the novelty of cooking it yourself in either the pot or on a small hot plate. All condiments and garnishes are provided too to make your foot extra tasty.

Everything was so authentic. I lived in China for 2.5 years and the flavours took me back to being there! Thank you for this!

I’m veggie, which isn’t typically catered to in Chinese cooking, but there were loads of different things I could have, woodear mushrooms, tofu, beancurd in different forms, noodles, bok choi, Chinese leaf, potato, spring rolls and much more! And Helen said with advance warning she could prepare some more for me! So kind!

Really attentive and kind waitress and chef. Came here with three generations of family, old and young, and the hot pot experience managed to captivate them all. At home we were more used to a shared pot so the individual pot was novel and fun. A really clean restaurant with many free sauce and condiments to choose from. The food selection on the conveyor belt and to order was fresh and varied. The meat arrived on plates as cargo on a train on the second level of the conveyor belt. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yummy Pot, and I can confidently say it was the best hotpot I’ve ever had.
