Really fresh and spongy Nutella doughnut with a good ratio of filling to 'dough'. Hot chocolate was also lovely and rich although in a slightly smaller cup that your usual coffee shop 'regular' size (perhaps it would have been good if the menu actually showed the size). Good Covid secure measures with privacy screen, a fun looking hatch to pick up ordered items rather than handing them over the counter and restricting 1 group in at a time. This of course creates a long queue though as even if you're in there ordering just a drink, no one else can be served as you're in there waiting for it to be made. Would be great to also have menus outside for people queuing or even someone taking drinks orders outside to speed up the process?

We paid £17.50 for two very average puddings. I think the Pudding Stop has seen better days. It used to be operated by it's enthusiastic owner and there was a large selection of puddings, but now it's basically down to two - a cookie with ice cream or sticky toffee. The restaurant is looking a bit tired and so is the concept. It used to be a great alternative to pudding at the restaurant but now I don't think I'll bother as we ended up being surrounded by school kids who I assume we're kicked out of a nearby milkshake bar. A bit of a come down from The Ivy or Cote.

Excellent place for pudding! I was so impressed and satisfied with my brownie. Pros: - Amazing and rich brownie ( I got the triple layer one) - Fair prices, especially for the size of the brownies - I like that there was cookie dough that you can buy there. I didn’t buy it this time, but maybe next time! Cons: - There wasn’t a lot of seating. We were lucky to grab a seat but others were not so lucky. - My friend got the salted caramel sauce for her brownie and it was a little too salty for her, but that may just be her preference.

I don’t know why i keep coming back here but I do as it’s the only shop that specialises in puddings. However each time I go I am never blown away even though I am a big dessert person. The chocolate brownies are too soft in my opinion and when you ask for them to be heated up they turn to baby food as they go completely mushy! I only wanted it to be warm. The custard is rubbish, really thin and watery. The cheesecake also tastes very strange, so had to let them know and they took them off the shelf. Also they don’t allow you to takeaway certain things I was allowed to takeaway in the past. Overall the food is extremely overpriced for what I would say very average puddings. If you’re craving a pudding I would just go to one of the many...

We visited the Pudding Stop on a weekday morning. It was packed with people which is a good sign. There was a good feel to the place although the seating was a little uncomfortable - hard wooden benches. As described as the pudding stop, best to stick to the puddings! Savory isn't their specialty especially as a kitchen that doesn't stock pepper will tell you! The puddings on the whole were very good, we had banana loaf, sticky toffee pudding and bakewell tart/cake. Disappointed to pay an extra £1 to have my 'bottomless pot' refilled with boiling water - seriously??, which leaves the second cup tasting stale. Hot chocolate is watery and sugary, not 'full and chocolatey' as should be. Great service, friendly place and...
