Visited this pizza hut for the first time in St Helens. We got the weekday All in Buffet. The customer service was great, and sitting was nice as well. The Margarita flavour was nice but that was pretty much it. The drinks (tried Tango both flavours and pepsi max) tasted very different, ?watered down. I have had their Buffet in Liverpool One which is just awesome. Finally tried their icecream factory which was very good!

Last time I went to a Pizza Hut I didn't really enjoy it. This time we went to try the two vegan pizza's, and they were really nice, the cheeze was good, the alt pepperoni great. Pizzas, chips and onion rings cooked to perfection and nice and hot when it arrived. Very good portion size you could share the chips and onion rings between two, and we were welcomed and served by a lovely member of staff.

Wait to pay upfront allowing pizza hut to cut costs, then order a pizza buffet and no food is replaced on the hot plates for over 20 minutes. Loads of really unhappy customers wanting refunds. Staff said they prioritised other orders over the buffet, do we have to wait. They really are not interested in serving or letting customers know where they stand before they pay.

Went tonight for first time since Covid so expected some changes.. you now have to order the food yourself via your mobile. I honestly don't get this as the lady who took us to our table spent longer explaining stuff to us than she would have if she wud have just taken our order..didn't make sense to me? Especially when they came out to serve food and if we needed anything we had to ask and they came over. They don't have the salad bar or self serve drinks which I can understand but this took away from why the kids like going for us...the salad bowls come as standard so the kids couldn't pick what they had included in the salad bowl. Again I completely understand why due to Covid ...I'm only giving the heads up. Food was lovely..hot and tasted nice. BBQ wings were not bbq they were chicken wings and we had to ask for bbq sauce to make them bbq. The negative was the service...noone came to refill drinks so this took away from the fact we weren't supposed to move around as we had to just to get a drink.. girl serving us was a bit off too..no manners and was abrupt. It felt like we could have been anywhere and I didn't feel like I was in a restaurant...no added benefit to eat in at pizza hut really now for us. I also felt like the speech at the beginning was quite condescending...it was like a military operation..get your cutlery 2 crayons per child dont move around wear mask..etc and this was after reading the big board of rules at the front of the door....felt like being talked down to...i understand the need for additional restrictions and explanations of course but i felt delivery of the rules was poor. Ive eaten out at a few places and never been made to feel like that before..felt quite a cold atmosphere. I would have given less stars but the food was lovely ...should have ordered the food to go. Possible option if rules around self orders would be to request refills via the app or some way to get waiting on staffs attention as this was...

What a terrible experience we had yesterday in this place, we went in around 1.15pm and decided on the buffet, we were told that there was no ice cream as the machine was broken so I asked what else the could offer to replace the ice cream as that is included in the all you can eat buffet, the young guy said he’d have to ask the manager so off he went to ask, he came back and said the manager said there is nothing to offer but we could purchase a dessert off the menu, I said that’s not a good thing so I asked to speak to the manager to be told they were too busy to speak to me, how disappointing and unprofessional of a manager not to speak to a customer when requested. The server was a lovely guy and I felt sorry for him as he seemed embarrassed. The food was not good at all, cold bits of pizza, salad bar and pasta needed filling up, I did ask for some fresh pizza to be brought out as all the bits left were cold, there were around 6 tables taken in the facility so not busy so it would be very easy to make sure the food was warm and replaced often however they did not seem to care at all, tbh this is the worst facility I have ever been too and will never come back again, my suggestions would be seeing as i myself work on the customer service industry do to get the management in this place so more service training and to take at least a bit of pride in their work instead of sitting in the back ignoring their customers who are practically paying their wage , very disappointed in such a big well known...

Came during lunchtime midweek. Our server was absolutely lovely, unable to remember her name because I'm writing this review a few weeks later. Not too busy, so it was nice and chilled. Easy to park the car aswell for free, you just have to pop your registration into the tablet at the bar which gives you 6 hours, so you're fully able to pop in to town for a bit of shopping before leaving.

We paid for the buffet, and had a couple of sides on top. All together came to around £30 inclusive of the blue light card discount that was applied.

The food was good. On the buffet, the pizzas are relatively basic. So if you want something special you're probably better not going for the buffet and just ordering whichever pizzas you want.

Even still, all food was hot and the sides we ordered were gorgeous.

Id definitely come again for a nice...
