Unfortunately we were quite disappointed overall. Very friendly people, and extremely tasty food, however on every course we ordered (with the exception of the pizza) we couldn't help but think "where's the rest of it?". The prices look reasonable if you're expecting the usual portion size the Italians are apparently famous for, but for what you're getting the prices are very high.

All 3 of us had a starter, which all tasted fantastic, with a cheesy garlic bread and a plain garlic bread to share between us, sadly most of the cheesy garlic bread didn't have any cheese, and they were both very small compared to other established Italian restaurants in the area. Very tasty starters, but where's the rest of them?

For mains I had a pizza which was lovely, and just about fit on the plate, I would give it 10/10 but I was promised it would be very spicy, it wasn't. My partner had a ravioli dish that was very tasty by her reckoning, but to be honest it would've looked small if it was served as a starter, never mind a main.

Desserts were okay, necessary for all 3 of us as we were still hungry, but sadly nothing special.

Can't say we'll be rushing back any time soon, the final bill we received didn't match the amount of food we'd had, which is a shame because the food was very very tasty, there just didn't seem to be very much of it. If the prices reflected the portion sizes, or the portion sizes reflected the prices then this place would surely be packed every night. I really hope the owners look at how much food they're serving, as I want them to succeed with food as tasty as that, there just wasn't enough of it. £7.10 for a pint of lager is also a little bit on...

Been wanting to go here for a while, unfortunately very disappointed with our experience. First we were told couldn’t sit at the back of the restaurant because it was cold. There was no peroni on draft, just bottled, but weren’t to bothered by this. We ordered various dishes of tapas, we had to send the lamb skewers back, barely any meat on them, gristle and fat, we returned them saying we didn’t want them, they apologised but offered nothing else. Half way through the meal our meatballs hadn’t arrived so had to remind them. I felt these had just been microwaved. Because we were a tapas down due to sending the lamb skewers back we were still hungry and ordered the cheese board and I asked if there would be crackers with it, yes I was told. When it arrived it came with 2 stale breadsticks, no grapes, or olives and 3 bits of cheese and it was supposed to be for two people, I asked where were the crackers, to be told we haven’t got any, they were in the freezer and couldn’t be served. I just said fine, a few minutes later the crackers arrived, I assumed having been defrosted. They were very dry and the poor young waitress looked embarrassed, apologised and said that she had been told there would be crackers with the cheese board before I ordered it, I think they quickly defrosted the crackers because they could see I was not impressed. Sorry to say I did not leave a tip, there was nothing authentic about our experience and will not be returning. I realise there are many great reviews about this place but our experience was very disappointing, they weren’t...

Booked a table at 8pm on 26th January.

We got there and were seated, I sat down and the leg gave way on the chair and bent inwards causing me to fall. I was so embarrassed I had to go to the bathroom to calm myself down. I came back and we Waited 45 minutes for the starter which my friends starter when it came was stone cold in the middle (it was meat) and mine was warm not hot. We told the manager or owner and she apologised and bought out a new one straight away which again wasn’t hot was warm.. we then got our main courses pretty quickly after that I had a carbonara and we’re given a steak knife and a fork to eat it with so I had to proceed to ask for a spoon the carbonara was again warm, not hot. my friend had a sausage tomato pasta dish, she takes a bite and there is hair in the sausage. we then had to ask for the manager and she came over with shock and took it back and my friend told her she didn’t want a replacement because at this point it’s 10:15 and we’ve lost our appetite. She insincerely apologised and walked off. We then had to wait 10 minutes to get someone’s attention for the bill and as the bill arrive they didn’t charge us for my friend’s food just her drink.. thank god. However we never got a real apology in fact the manager didn’t even look at us as we left. I’m so disappointed because I recommended this place to her saying how nice it is as I’ve come a few times. We are now eating a dominoes and will not be...

First time visiting. Very warm welcome and friendly staff. We ordered the chicken wings and crocettas to start. Both were very tasty. We had pizzas for our mains - when they arrived we realised we didn't need the starters. They are big. And boy are they good. I'd put them in the top 3 pizzas I've ever had. Certainly better than any pizza I've had in Italy. The toppings were fantastic, but it's the crust which is the star. Just amazing - crisp but soft at the same time. After chatting to the chef (an Italian!), he told me the dough is given 72 hours to rise. You can see the pride he has in his product. Very authentic, and super delicious. Can't wait to return.

Read that this place was good so decides to try the pizza here. It did not disappoint, the food was excellent. The pork rib was cooked to perfection, meat was so soft and flavorful. The pizza was delicious, the base was soft and the crust had a nice crunch. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot of tiramisu around the world. Will visit again for sure. Also the service is just so friendly and welcoming, the best place to just have a drink or meal.

Authentic, quality food and attentive friendly service. Great choices for veggie and meat eaters alike (unreal parmigiana!). Amazing italian coffees, home made cakes and milkshakes too. Have been getting takeaways here for a while and ate in for the first time tonight - cheese board starter in pic below with complementary warm fresh baked foccacia bread. Love this place!
