If I could give this palce 0 stars I would. Everything there is bad- from the customer service through food to drinks and prices. I feel the only reason they have customers there is because it's the only place in the area where you can get food and drinks. I ordered a matcha latte, cake and soup.

The tomato soup that was served there today was DISGUSTING. I don't think anyone tried it after it had been made. If they did they'd throw it away. The only thing that you could taste there was pepper and celery salt or whatever salt it was. There was nothing else you could taste there and the only reason we decided to eat it is because it would have been a waste of money.

The iced drinks are served in micro plastic cups- 200ml max. You get a cup that's full of ice, a bit of milk and matcha/espresso shot and you pay £4.50 (not sure if they charged me extra for non dairy milk, if they did I guess I paid around £5 for my matcha). The espresso we ordered was horrible and the americano we had had nothing to do with coffee.

The cakes cost around £4-4.50/slice. Seriously, have we gone mad?

The staff there have no idea about customer service but maybe because an average person there is hmm... 18yo? The only person that looked older there was a guy who served us and who might have been an owner?

The tables are DIRTY. I asked a girl behind the counter to wipe one down for us to which she said they would but that never happened. We sat just outside at the front. I appreciate it was fairly busy but not ridiculously.

Next time I'm in the park I'll make sure I bring my own drinks and food as there's no way I'll support a business that's trying to rip their...

This place is lovely, the staff are really sweet and friendly HOWEVER we waited 45 minutes for 2 toasties this afternoon (I'm a carer and kept the receipt so I'm 100% on the time I ordered). They don't have enough staff working and whenever it's a nice day they just go completely to pieces. It's great the food is made fresh and they bring it to you (although I went in and waited for ours just to help them out a bit) but I honestly think they need to have some things (ie kids sandwiches) made up in advance. People were waiting over 10 minutes for takeaway coffees as the only guy serving was having to make sandwiches as well as take orders and payments. The 2 yo child on the table next to us waited half an hour for a ham sandwich. Its really not OK. Managers should have a look at their food offering bc its not realistic and add extra staff for sunny days in winter, the staff are overrun and its not fair on them, and it's not exactly great for hungry children or their...

Having worked in a few cafe before I know the customer service is really not good. 0 smiles or willingness to help. We came at lunch time so I get it gets busy and stressful but their was multiple people behind the counter. Menu very limited although what is on offer looks very tasty. The toasties/sandwiches tasted nice but were presented terribly and looked like they had been thrown together. The coffee was good, but lukewarm. The cakes however tasted really really amazing but were thrown in a cardboard box. So presentation needs to be worked on. I wouldn't mind really but the prices are absolutely ridiculous and do not reflect the service and the food you get. I didn't want to review at all as there's always another side to every story but I was personally very disappointed. Really think the decor needs work too. Place seems clean, outdoor area is really nice. I would come here for a coffee in future...

This is a beautiful little cafe. The park is perfect for little ones. Tidy and safe with a little animal sanctuary including goats and chickens near by. I always pop by this cafe situated next to the park because it's a fantastic place. There is lots of wonderful seating outside and a great selection of cakes, coffees and sandwiches. But my main reason I like to frequent this place so much is the customer service. There is one lady. I think her name is Keeley (forgive me if I'm wrong) she is so sweet, greets everyone with a smile always so happy. She's as northern as they come and I absolutely love that. An absolute credit to the business and I'm sure a lot of people will agree. She really makes my (and my twin daughters) day. Keep up the good work. Your exceptional service and friendly nature is what keeps us coming back

Since I've started freelancing I've got into the habit of starting my working day with a coffee here, and what a gem of a place it is! The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious and generous (the huge bakewell/carrot cake/pastrami toastie/chicken pesto focaccia are all top notch), and the staff are SO lovely - chatty, happy to help, and good vibes all round. It feels like a real community hub - groups of mums with kids and prams, large school groups, couples with lively dogs, etc - and, despite being incredibly busy at lunch time, the service doesn't falter. Everyone is made to feel welcome by the staff - I noticed the staff take great care accommodating big groups/kids/dogs/elderly. I really can't fault the place - thank you 🫶🏻
