Exceptional Experience 🎉🎊🏆💯❤️👌

My friend and I came in yesterday afternoon/evening(Sunday 30/03/25), we didn't have a table book however the initial engagement with staff was wonderful, she asked if we had pre-booked, we said no and she smiled and said not to worry and took us to a wonderful window table at the front of the restaurant.

She then left us with some menus and gave us a few minutes to order, it didn't take long for us to select what we wanted and to my surprise the host/waitress was paying attention to us as we didn't need to motion to her to let her know we was ready, she came straight over, with a smile she took our oder for both food and drinks.

The drinks came straight away and she said the food wouldn't be long, there was a family occasion going on next to us so we was happy to wait as we could see that they would be served first, as the group was loud next to us the host did ask if wanted to move, we declined as we loved to hear and see a family next to us happy and enjoying there meal.

To our surprise a waiter came out with two hot plates and the food arrived shortly after, he waited only 15minutes in total.

So the food, We ordered a Keema Mutter, Desi Chicken Curry, Tandoori Roti''s, Rice(Plain) and Green salad with a Yogurt also. The food was unbelievable, The Keema and Chicken was fresh and and had right right amount of spice, the Chicken fell apart, it couldn't of been cooked more perfect, the keema was soft and the peas was also cooked perfect.

The roti was soft and buttery as I had asked for them to be buttered, the rice was perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh and tasty, the Yogurt was also fresh and tasty.

We was both so happy and flabbergasted because the food really was exceptional, we would recommend this place to all, the layout of the restaurant was long and spacious, the toilet was clean, smelled fresh and it even had a chart up to show when it had been cleaned last, lovely small touches throught our experience that made us feel like our custom was important and that we would be welcomed back.

All in All giving this place a 10/10 is an understatement, it really is exceptional in everyway, we will be returning and I will be recommending this place to all friends and family.

Very upset booked a birthday party here chose the platinum package. Sent out invitations to family. Went back to them paid deposit. Next day, I got a phonecall saying, sorry your booking has been cancelled as our staff booked someone else in ( as you, hadn't paid deposit) They had my details all they had to do was call me to confirm and I would have paid, deposit over the phone. Common courtesy would be for staff to call first to confirm, before they give booking to someone else. I had to move venue, change date, resend invites. This would have been our 2nd party here at Tikka Tavern. But going forward, we will not ever come here ever again.

Just received a response back from owner stating they tried to call me 3 times. This is untrue. I never received 1 call let alone 3. Infact when my booking was cancelled the lady on the phone apologised and stated I should have been called before my booking being cancelled and she offered me the next day and free ice cream ! This lady also said, she had been of sick for a few days and has just returned and realised the mistake.

Even when we came to collect deposit we were told the mistake was with the staff member who took another booking and didn't confirm with me.

Nothing annoys me more than dishonesty. This review is 100% true. But the owner stating otherwise has upset me...

Tikka Tavern is absolutely fantastic! We recently celebrated my grandad's 80th birthday there after attending a party at the restaurant, and we were blown away. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the organisation was truly impressive. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that everyone received their correct order and food on time. I highly recommend it! The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated, providing some great backdrops for photos. They were even kind enough to let us hang some decorations in the downstairs area where we were seated.

While some guests found the meat-on-the-bone dishes a bit dry and had less meat compared to the tikka and boneless options, my own meal was incredible. I especially recommend the samosa chaat (some of the best I've had, comparable to what you get in India) and the chilli chips (another...
