The atmosphere is the first thing that greets you when you come through the door and the smell of fresh coffees and hints of espresso sends the familiar jolt of anticipation through you that only Starbucks can generate. The staff is all smiles and they don't treat you like a customer.... they greet you as a returning friend stopping by to share some java before starting the day. And when you leave, the "Come back again..." requests can be heard along with the well wishes and thank you shout outs from the staff that drive home the welcome feeling that is the unseen signature of something special .... a place where friends gather and share something special with each other.... not just a caffeine pit stop before the daily grind. So c'mon and stop by Starbucks on Belt Line between Quorum and the toll road and see for yourself.... I wouldn't be sitting in here writing this right now if it weren't...
Read moreVery friendly staff but inconsistent making drinks. The other day I got a mango dragon fruit refresher and it was very light purple and tasted like flavored water. They always put a different amount of the mix in it sometimes it’s super dark purple and very concentrated and sometimes it’s the opposite. Today I went and ordered a brown sugar Oat milk shaken espresso. The drink they handed me was white and tasted like they shorted some espresso and it didn’t have the brown sugar taste in it. It just didn’t taste like what I’ve gotten before. I had extra time so I went down the road and went to the I 30 & Cockrell Hill location and ordered the exact same drink and they gave it to me the way it supposed to be made. It was frothy on top and you could see the layers with the espresso on the bottom and it tasted like brown sugar. This location on I 30 & Belt Line does not make drinks right...

After getting on the road again I realized it was not what I ordered (checked the label to make sure it was mine--it was). Wrong roast, no syrup, no steamed milk. Rather than turn around, I decided to stop in to this place and ask if they would re-make it. They were so accommodating and kind about it. Made me another drink with no fuss, even though they didn't have the blonde roast. I needed a lower acid roast because of acid reflux issues. The kind lady with the German accent behind the counter was so nice about it and even offered to make me a third drink if I didn't like the one she made. Wasn't necessary. I really appreciated the effort she made to accommodate my request and fix an error that someone else at a different store...
