Brewery X Biergarten At Honda Center — Restaurant in Anaheim

SUBJECT: EVICTED FROM HONDA CENTER DURING GWEN STEFANI CONCERT ON 9/9/2023 OVER A DISPUTED "PHANTOM" PLATE OF FOOD.

Please note these comments are directed at our horrifying and terrifying experience at the JACK DANIEL'S CLUB RESTAURANT on 9/9/23 which could have ALL been easily avoided had just ONE [1] person out of the 40 or 50 total people involved had any "COMMON SENSE," HONESTY or INTEGRITY and taken heed to my repeated demands and viewed the surveillance videotape to determine who is telling the TRUTH and who is LIEING???

However, everybody involved "RUSHED TO JUDGEMENT" based on a Fabricated Story by the Restaurant Manager, Josie, which also resulted us being EVICTED from the Arena after forcibly paying for the 2nd "PHANTOM" plate of food.

My position is I received one [1] plate of food at the buffet table and offered to pay for it, repeatedly.

However, the female restaurant manager's [Josie] position is that my son ordered a second plate ["PHANTOM"] after I informed her I was going to the restroom which is 100% NOT TRUE!!!

I refused to pay for the second plate which was NEVER ordered NOR obviously NEVER CONSUMED!!!

As a result of Josie's gross negligence and being misinformed she called a squadron of security guards and Anaheim Police Department [APD] officers and held us against our will and forced me to pay $150.74 for the TWO [2] meals!!! I view charging my credit card for the second plate as "EXTORTION."

After I was literally forced to pay, otherwise I would be arrested and taken to jail, then they had the audacity and stupidity and EVICTED us from the arena with NO explanation provided. Then there were another 15-20 security guards and APD officers watching us outside as we demanded to speak directly with a member of the arena's senior management team.

Meanwhile, we missed Gwen Stefani perform at a special 30th anniversary of the Mighty Ducks Pond!!

At least a half dozen times during this ordeal I demanded somebody from management take 5 to 10 minutes and watch the surveillance videotape from the restaurant, which would have cleared us of ALL WRONGDOINGS. ALL of the APD officers, security guards and Mr. Roman Zavala, Director of Food and Beverages, REFUSED to review the videotape evidence!!!

I have been a patron of the Pond, now called Honda Center, for the past 30 years without any issues. However, now tonight me and my son were HARRASSED, DETAINED BY POLIICE, THREATENED WITH ARRSST & JAIL and treated as CRIMINALS is APALLING, REPREHENSIBLE & UNACCEPTABLE!!!

We have been Ducks Club Level season ticket holders for 14+ years. We haven’t eaten at the Shock Top terrace for several seasons, but the first several times we dined here after the grand opening were great experiences. Tonight, not so much! We arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation only to watch the last two indoor tables be given to people who checked in after us in line. One party didn’t even have a reservation. The hostess had no explanation for her actions, only offering an, “I am so sorry...” After agreeing to be seated outside, our server gave us incorrect information about a menu option, and when we asked for an explanation for the mistake after the dish arrived, she gave us a blank stare and no apology. The food was only mediocre, we had a margarita pizza (it had six slices and only three cherry tomatoes), a burrata cheese appetizer (the crisps were scorched) and truffle fries. We were most disappointed with the truffle fries. We remembered them being excellent from our past visits, tonight they were over-cooked. When you consider the price and the expectation set based on our past visits and the exclusivity of membership, tonight was a big disappointment. We have witnessed a major decline in both the quality of the food and service at every venue of the Honda Center in the last five seasons. We really hoped to be impressed with Shock Top tonight, but they let us down big time. We still love our Ducks, but we just can’t get excited about the food options at the...

Wasn't sure what the hype was about and why you need a ticket to get in.... We could have sat outside with the heat lamps,, but decided on inside instead because it was really cold 🥶! $23 for the glass of Cab was a bit ridiculous, but it was a decent Cab from Josh Cellars. Our waiter, DeShawn was great 👍 He didn't rush us, but checked on us often to make sure we were good. The Truffle fries he recommended were a great starter and came with slivers of Parmesan cheese 🧀 and ketchup AND mayo! I usually have to ask for mayo, so it was nice that it came with. We shared the Smoked Salmon Flatbread. OMG! It was delicious! Nice big pieces of salmon and trout roe and arugula. Yummy! I would definitely recommend it! So, I found out Brewery X is the only restaurant with real food in the whole Honda Center. They stamped our wrists with flourescent ink so we could go back during and after the game. It's great because they serve your drinks in glass - not plastic cups. Will definitely be back again! Off...
