Los Caporales Taqueria — Restaurant in Antioch

Just because it fills up your tummy doesn't mean it's actually good. My mom used to like their Birria, now I ordered it to go and it's all looking like Menudo, super salty, meat is hard and in small chunks like if it was made for Carne con Chile. Not sure what is happening with many of these "Mexican" restaurants lately. Things are getting super expensive, even if some of us pay extra for them to make it right, they still decide to not deliver. Microwaved tortillas that are falling apart when you grab them? Really? Last Carnitas burrito I ordered was drenched in Manteca (lard), just dripping from the bottom as I took a bite, bag was already wet before I unwraped it. Seriously, where has your pride for cooking gone to? Since when did many of these restaurants stopped doing it right? Is it just greed? Just do...

What I experience today it disgusts me so much that I would never go back again the cook grab his nose while talking to another employee and my order went in and just started cooking without washing his hands it’s just so disgusting because they wrap your burritos with their bare hands so I had to get my money back and I waited to see if he wash his hands but he never did it And after I confronted them he was all mad and say I’ll give your money back people do not eat there make sure that cook haves his hands...

The food is amazingly delicious!! I love that they have the drinks available so one can have a refill, that chips and salsa are available for self-service. Where I live, this just doesn't happen, so this was awesome to see. My husband and I loved how delicious the food tasted, we came two nights in a row. We had burritos, tacos, and nachos... nothing disappointed us. Try to ignore how horrible their surrounding is (it's not the best), but inside is nice. I'll be back another...
