Horrible service! On Valentine's day! First of all, the "manager" Sean, was flat out disrespectful and told me that it was my fault I didn't get what I was supposed to. Though it's all on the receipt and taped to the bag. My love and I thought it would be best to order some lunch so we had more time to play. Called in a pick up order. I had ordered ginger chicken teriyaki. I had previously ordered the bowl and the portion size was small. So I ordered the plate, comes with a small salad. Thinking I might get more chicken also. And an added side of broccoli whick turned out to be five pieces of broccoli, which by the way I got charged $2.50 for. The salad was three quarters of the meal. Not that I don't like my greens, I do. I had added what they call "double chicken thigh" which is an upcharge of $7.50!! I saw and understood this. Thinking I would get a healthy serving of chicken. Ended up I got the same amount of chicken as the original bowl. Nothing more, that we had paid for extras. I'll never walk out of a business without checking the order first. My valentine and I make it to our destination and opened up our meal and that's when I became disappointed. It gets better! My girlfriend then called this place and had nicely requested that we come back on our way though and pick up what we had been shorted on. By the way chicken is the least expensive protein. We had called so we would get what we had originally paid for nice and hot as we came back through town. I had gone in to pick it up and opened up the order and found again a ice cream scooper amount of chicken. I just don't see how anyone would be willing to pay $7.50 upcharge for an ice cream scooper amount of chicken. The best part is when I turned back around to ask Shawn what happened, he proceeded to tell me that he had asked all of the staff if they had done their job properly, and how I must be wrong about what I had received. Shawn then felt it was right to tell me that he was "trying to do me a solid, and that I should be happy about it". I am definitely not. And since when does anyone go to a place of business to get attitude and talk back from a manager or anyone? On top of ripped off. I feel the size togo boxes are a form of manipulation on behalf of the owners/operators. I am not someone that eats way too much. I am 5'6" 145 pounds. No one works hard for money to be ripped off by local business that we are all trying to support in the first place. Sean is a child with a beard. Don't let him fool you. He apparently does not know how to fill the position he was given. I will never go back to this place and I will definitely tell everyone about this interaction whenever the subject comes up. Moral of the story. Make sure you get what you paid for, no one has the time or energy or money to be going through this. All I am interested in is quality food, good portion, and if I can't enjoy your space because of covid, better make damn sure I get good service. Again this is horrible service. A bad example of how to do business.
