I was so elated to finally try Sidequest! I had seen so many of their launches on IG and had to check it out.
Though it took me a bit to find, when I got upstairs, I was swiftly greeted and sat. I think it's really neat to have a large table serve as both communal and large party seating! It was a full house with everyone filling the booths. I ordered banh khot and crab and prawn toast. The banh khot took me back to breakfast outside of my grandmothers, and the crab toast made me thirst for a beverage! Both were so well crafted, many applause to the chefs. I am excited to see what they rotate in and out of their menu.
I also ordered a Thai tea and the life in 4K. Any respectable Asian establishment cannot mess up Thai tea, so naturally this one tasted fine. The Life in 4K cocktail was divine! I've never had a drink so complex--it had warmth, various sweetness, and sour. I would've ordered 10 more had I not had to drive home!
