Slim & Husky's Pizza — Restaurant in Atlanta

Introduction: First time here. Nice location, parking could be an issue if you do not want to park in the lot.

Welcome: Warm and friendly greeting with smiles 😊. The pizza makers (not sure of their title) were very nice. I just recently did a review stating how the customer service etiquettes have gone down but after eating here I now have hope for great customer service. We received 5 star customer service!! Shannon (pizza maker) she was helpful from the start. She was patient and kindly explained my options. When I decided to get something midway she was still kind and made my pizza with a smile. She made me feel welcomed and special! The cashier Juan was also kind and he checked us out with a smile. He explained the drinks and desserts again with patience and a smile 😊!

Ambiance: Nice tables and stools to sit at. Tables had a good spatial distance. It was clean.

Food: I had signature Nothing but a “V” Thing slim pizza and it was delicious 😋. The toppings were fresh and the spicy sauce gave it a little extra zing. To wash it down I enjoyed a Frozen Peach drink. My son had a slim cheese pizza and his drink was an orange fountain soda, he loved it. It was the perfect size for him. They have beef pepperonis which I found hard to find. My friend had a pizza the multiple toppings and his by the way was a husky, he also had a fountain soda bHe ate every bite. My son and I wanted to save some for later 😊! My son an I shared a O.G. S+ H House rolls…brown sugar sauce and cream cheese. Since we chose 2 Ms Berry was our second choice.

Price: The food was worth the price especially because you can really pile on the toppings!!

Experience: My first time here and the staff and good made it a great experience. I went back to Shannon and Juan to thank them for for their customer service. While I was talking to Shannon my drink fell on the floor and she immediately told me she would get me another one. She then asked her coworker to come around and pick up mine off the floor. The coworker did it with no problem and not even a frown on their face!! That speaks volumes to me because so many people (especially younger ones) do not like being told what to do and their facial expressions give them away every time. As I was walking out the Assistant General Manager (I apologize but I forgot his name) came to me to say thank you. We chatted for a few minutes (I explained how pleased I was with his staffs customer service) and he too was warm and friendly!! It felt like old-fashioned restaurant hospitality speaking with the Asst GM without me having to ask for them. Thank you!

Will return: Most definitely will be back here to eat and I will be bringing along with telling others about my experience!!!

Stars: I would have given 4.5 stars but since there are no half stars I gave 4 stars. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the restroom was out of order. Whenever you dine-in there should always be a working rest room for customers. Food doesn’t always go down well and someone my need to make an emergency break to the rest restroom. Everything else was 5 stars!!

Tip: Come with a smile and be ready to get a “slim” or “husky”...

Their 16 inch Build Your Own Pizza (with house cheese, jalapeños, pepperoni, Nashville hot chicken, spicy red marinara, and garlic drizzle $16). STAMP!! This is the BEST build your own pizza I’ve ever had!! Fresh, edible crust, & spiced right marinara!!

Their Big Poppa Pie (with house blend cheese, beef pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red onions, & garlic drizzle $26). STAMP!! HUGE, tasty, & will feed the crew!!

Their sauces-Unique & Bursting with flavor. Stoneground Peach Mustard…STAMP!! Pineapple Chipotle BBQ…STAMP!! Jalapeño Cilantro Ranch…STAMP!! Honey Sriracha Mayo…STAMP!!

Their Garlic Knots ($3). DELICIOUS, especially with any of their sauces.

The Roll Out cinnamon rolls-Sweet, warm, & glazed to perfection!! Blueberry Lemon…STAMP!! The Cookie Monster…STAMP!! The Old Fashion…STAMP!! The Strawberry Shortcake…STAMP!! . Customer Service: It was EXCELLENT until I was at the register, & the person that walked up behind me was taken care of before I finished my transaction. They apologized. . Online Navigation: EASY!! . Parking: ROUGH in that area. . Recommendations: Get the cheese, BYO, ANY of their sodas, & ALL the cinnamon buns!!
