Zunzi's — Restaurant in Atlanta

Zunzi’s truly has the best sandwich in Georgia!!!!!! I usually don’t go on a Sunday. However, August 24th, 2025, I had a craving for it.😊 When I got there, I met other members of the Zunzi’s family - MacKenzie, Mo, and Deedee. The staff I met was just as nice and friendly and helpful as my regulars (Queen, Gary, Tara, Ivory, and Brandon). Mo, Deedee, and MacKenzie greeted me with a warm hello, a beautiful smile, and a friendly, “What can I make for you today?”. While they diligently worked, all three young ladies were engaged in a pleasant conversation with me. I enjoyed this visit to Zunzi’s. And as always, the Conquistador sandwich was delicious.😋 ~ Liz

SHIT YEAH !!!!!!!! On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Zunzi had a great deal….. Get a FREE dip of your choice with the purchase of a Conquistador!!! So I had to go get it. I love all of their sandwiches, but the Conquistador is my favorite! 🤩 And, their homemade hummus dip tastes good. The staff is wonderful, and the restaurant is clean and smells good. All of their food is delicious, and going there is always an amazing experience. One of my favs is Queen. She’s a great staff member. She waited on me today. She is so sweet. I love her blonde braids and infectious gorgeous smile. Queen has the best customer service skills❗️

SHIT YEAH !!!!!!!!!! On Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 11am-3pm was Zunzifest. I’m so glad I went. It was soooooo amazing‼️ The free conquistador sandwich was delicious. 😋 The staff was very friendly. And, it was a very long line and hot, but worth the wait, and while we were standing waiting in line, the staff offered us a popsicle. Representatives from the Red Bull company was there handing out free Red Bulls. They had a variety of flavors. And after getting your food, if you left a Google review, then you received a free bottle of Dank sauce. But what I thought was so incredible, but also helpful to the children in the community was the fact that Zunzi’s sponsored CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children. CASA’s mission is to give every child in the GA foster care system a CASA volunteer. They’re asking for donations, volunteers, and for people to share their mission with others in the community. On May 2, 2025, My bestie and I went to Zunzi’s for Bring a Friend Friday (2-for-1 sandwich), and we were welcomed with a smile and amazing service. We went in the evening so we were waited on by the dynamic duo of the Mom and daughter that works there. You can see the love and respect that they have for each other, but also the pride in their work and the great customer service that they give you.

We did take out. Once we got to the house and ate, the sandwich was so delicious and my bestie enjoyed hers too. I love when you have 2-for-1, but I really appreciate any deal that you have, especially when money is scarce for going out.

Hi, this is Liz. I said SHIT YEAH!!! 😊 Yesterday (1/3), I visited the Atlanta Zunzi's location. It was my first time. The customer service was amazing. I can't remember her name, but she was a nice looking black woman with a pretty smile and blonde braids in her hair (Queen). She had so much patience me (I asked a lot of questions). She was informative and also very friendly. And the gentleman (Gary) that was cooking in the kitchen had so much personality (he interacted with me). The other two employees that were there were nice too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the visit. And when I got home and tasted the sandwich, oh my gosh. It was so delicious. I kept saying SHIT YEAH!!! I had the conquistador sandwich and my daughter had the falafel. She said her sandwich was good too. She let me bite it, and she was...

If you are from South Africa please do not bother with this place! There is ALMOST NOTHING South African about it other than a giant mural of Madiba on the outside wall and a couple South African flag logos next to a couple of menu items. Took my Zulu bride there last week for a quick bite. I lived in SA for 9 years until 2020. Other than a Wors sandwich (not even called burgers) and Mrs. Balls for a sauce it was all American. They have a "Bunny Chow" but no option for meat in it. Soya! Seriously??? That is NOT a Bunny! They have iced tea called "South African Tea" but after we tasted had no idea how this got the name! Got the Wors sandwich and chips #4 and went to the register and they told me it was $21. What?? They said it was the "large" when I never asked for a large. Where is there a large option? The pointed to tiny letters at the bottom on the board. I said I am new here and asked for a #4 and would have not even known what a large was. They reduced the price as a courtesy was still $16 for a sandwich and chips! And then my drink was $3 on top of that. We decided to share since there was nothing of interest to her as a genuine Zulu South African. And to boot not a single South African working there. Not even trained to greet in any of the 14 official languages in SA. They pulled a sausage out of a metal vat like at a subway that was precooked. Sat down and at first actually shocked it had real Boerewors spice. But then cringed as it was overloaded with salt to keep it preserved in the vat. Could not finish and leave there soon enough! Gave it two stars and not one because of the bread that was fresh and fantastic! Overpriced hype wrapped around a barely South African "flair". Go to the Yebo Beach Haus for a real Taste of SA for this kind of money! Would have been over $30 for two....

I would like everyone to try this restaurant and you will not be disappointed! Me and my brother were really hungry and we found this foodies on our way in and I was like wow this place looks amazing let's give it a try. This is a South African modern restaurant which is pretty amazing because you don't find that a lot here which I have a hard time finding. I don't know where to begin but the experience there over all was great. The minute I walked in I was greeted with excitement and Since it was my 1st time the gentleman explain the menu and brand of the restaurant health food and culture. This was really great because I like his enthusiasm for the food they make and what they stand for and sharing the culture of it. So I got the number 1 popular sandwich "conquistador"which was amazing. So this sandwich almost taste like Caesar salad but they added zunis South which is 100x better. Omg the chicken in the sandwich alone was big juicy and had amazing flavor, you can eat that alone and be satisfied. My brother got the same but with mashed potatoes which was also awesome! I like how you can choose from a bowl mash potatoes, rice, lettuce wrap or have a sandwich which is great because it give you dietary options. This restaurant has vegetarian option and kids options too. I like how they sell their sauces because it's pretty amazing sauce. And I love how they clean and leave notices for clean tables for the next guest to enjoy especially during this covid times. I highly recommend everyone try...
