I love Noodles and I used to love this location; however, the past two trips to this location may have changed how we view this particular location due to the service and attention to detail. During one of our visits, we had to wait more than 20 minutes for lunch after making the order. While this is acceptable for most “sit-down establishments,” this was ridiculous for a “semi-fast order at the counter place.” While there was an apology from the server, but then our pasta was undercooked. Due to how long it took, we had to eat rather quickly in-order to get back to our job on time. Usually, this has not been the case with this noodles, as they are time conscience and their attention to detail is typically on-target. Unfortunately, this was again a problem the other night as we decided to take our family out as this was where everyone wanted to eat. Our children are very clear about what they want, and our eldest asked for Spaghetti and meatballs and received Mac and cheese, which we returned and asked for his meal. Again, twenty minutes later, we had to ask for his meal. They immediately got his spaghetti together, and gave him a full-size (not a kids meal size) and two packets of apple sauce, but forgot about the kids crispy. While I appreciate the thought of giving him something for waiting, we tried to wait to eat with him, which meant that our food was cold. I’m sure that this will be fixed in the future as this is a very popular and busy place to eat, but it’s really difficult to support this Noodle’s at the moment. 2 -Stars at best, July 2018
UPDATE: Came back recently because both of my children missed going there. The food was better prepared (like it used to be) and the service was very friendly. We did not have the previous issues, and it seemed like they were better prepared for us. I’m still not 100% sold on going back often, but it at least was better than a few months ago! I will go...
Read moreI really enjoyed the food. I was quite surprised! I was actually headed for a different restaurant but saw a picture of their zucchini shrimp scampi on their door and it caught my attention. So I walked in and ordered it. It was delicious. I have not been in a Noodles & Company for probably 15 years because I don't eat noodles, carbohydrates in all that. The zucchini was not cooked long enough to make them really noodley tasting. They were very crunchy. But the fact that I got eight pieces of shrimp made up for that. So the next day when I ate the second half of my meal, it was much better because I microwaved it more & the noodles were more done. I loved all the choices we had for drinks at the Coke Machine!! Amazing! My only real complaint was watching a male worker bring up the trash can and put it up front. Then I watched him to see what he would do. He stood around in the front for a while not washing his hands. So then I just stared at him. Finally, he did put on a pair of flimsy gloves and start to make some food. He should have washed his hands before he put those gloves on. I wish I could have figured out who the manager was but I could not tell by how they were dressed. They were busy. I thought I got my receipt so I could call in. I was mistaken it was just a food ticket. But it is an open kitchen so you can watch them make your food. I did also watch them make my food and I didn't see any...
Read moreAfter I placed my order in restaurant at Potomac&Colfax, I waited and watched as at least a dozen people came in after me, ordered and received their food before I did. I only ordered one meal. Online orders that came in aside, it wasn't until after all of those people came in and got their food, that I watched as the woman who took my order slowly walked over to the register and finally put my order in! She didn't even bother to put my order in to be cooked when I paid. They worked on everyone's food but mine never even made it in the line up. Another guest even commented that I had been there first. The entire kitchen basically took a break when she finally put it in. The whole place got quite as they left I saw it pop up on the screen suddenly and still I waited until the staff decided to return six minutes later to finally cook my food. I have no idea why they decided to treat me as if I was invisible. I know I was courteous and respectful. It was as if despite me standing right there waiting for thirty minutes for my food, I ceased to exist to everyone on the other side of that counter. I do not recommend eating here and the food I did finally receive was...
