LONG POST ALERT........Yesterday, April 3, 2022, was one of the worst experiences I have had with this particular Domino's location. Ironically, it must be a sign because, on April 6, 2021, I had a similar issue. I placed an order at 7:01 pm. At 8:23 pm, I received a text stating my driver Tamara is on the way (on the site I signed up to let me know 2 mins before arrival and it was a no-contact delivery.) At 8:30pm, I went downstairs to check and see if they may have placed it on my porch because a few times before I would not receive a notification until several minutes after delivery. At 8:49 pm, the online status showed completed and I have not received my order as of yet. I did not receive a updated text or a phone call. I attempted to call the store twice but the phone had a busy signal, like it was off the hook or something but I do not know. I had not eaten all day and I was still dealing with the news of the death of a family member and I did not feel like driving. It is now 9:24 pm and no status update and no food.
I had $21.70 in my bank account when I placed the order so I did not have any other money to go anywhere else so I decided if the delivery was not here, I would drive. I went downstairs, I saw a gray car with temp tags sitting there for at least 5 minutes. Something told me to take a picture of the vehicle. I sat for another 5 minutes so my car could warm up and type in the location on my phone which was 8 minutes away, then I drove to the Domino's location. I walked in and the gentleman asked was I picking up an order. I told him I placed an order around 7 pm and I still have not received it, it's almost 10 pm and I have not eaten all day so I came to pick up my order. I did not yell and scream, I was respectful but it did seem he was getting a bit defensive. The only thing he mentioned is that it was him and the driver working tonight. He asked me to hold on while he researched. He called the driver and he asked "are you at 2* L* Ave?" I said yes. He said "the driver tried to call you" and I asked him what number did they call, but he did not tell me. I even showed him my phone to show I received a text about the driver being on the way. He mentioned she had 7 stops. But how was I to know that? I just wanted to know where my food was. He did not apologize or anything which I was not really expecting anyway. He asked me if I could wait a few minutes and the driver is on the way back. I replied yes, I did not have a choice since I had not eaten all day. I was getting dizzy so I sat down. I asked for water several times but I guess I was not loud enough. After about 10 mins, the driver came in. She showed me a piece of paper and asked was my phone number 240* and I said yes. I mentioned I placed an order around 7 pm and did not receive my order or a call/text after 8:23 pm. She said are you going to wait so I can cook another pizza and wings and I replied yes. I really didn't have a choice since I hadn't eaten all day. So after 15 mins, I received my pizza and wings. They also provided free lava cakes for me having to wait. It would have meant more if I would have at least received an apology for the inconvenience but.......... I said thank you and was told to have a good night. Who am I? "Just another...
Read moreGHETTO. Drivers don't follow delivery instructions and will drop off to ANYONE they see. walked down because they gave my food to a neighbor in my building. Instructions say to call when outside..no phone call. Dropped the pizza and dipped...called the store and the phone just rings with automated messages....walked down to the store and it's packed, overstaffed but no food is being made or served....music with profanity and explicit verbiage playing with children in the dinning room from the kitchen.....i ordered my pizza at 6:20, it's now 8:00pm.
Manager told me that she was waiting for her manager to come back from outside, she was outside in the phone smoking....
So the lady decides to tell my husband she'll put it in for a remake..no rush on the order to the kitchen...no communication at all....DINNING ROOM DIRTY.
Cooks all have headphones on, a lot of talking in the kitchen and no work being done. Drivers come back from outside and DO NOT WASH OR SANITIZE HANDS!! TOUCHING FOOD! Going in the oven!
Another person comes to the register saying we close at 8 and they won't be making anymore pizzas....laughing during the whole interaction while I'm telling her what happened, not in uniform, unprofessional...she just walks away and starts talking to a group in the back...then some guy comes into the lobby to sweep in what looks like the first time the whole day. Not saying excuse me just sweeping over and around customers STILL WAITING FOR THEIR FOOD...

Read moreHonestly I'm incredibly disappointed in the level of service I received. I placed an order through the dominos website at 7:22PM this evening. I received the notification that my order was coming out of the oven at 8:05PM. Around 8:45PM I decided to check the status of the order & call the location. The phone was answered by an AM named Jayla. I asked her the status & she informed me that not only did she not know if it was ready but she didn't know whether I'd even have my order within 45 minutes to an hour. I asked whether or not they planned on notifying me in which she responded "I don't know". I then asked her what the policy was on situations like this because I'm not upset that it's busy I'm upset that there wasn't a phone call or email sent out saying hey sorry about that your delivery has been delayed apologize for the inconvenience especially when at this point it's been almost two hours since I've ordered & apparently I wouldn't be able to expect it until 10. She repeated she didn't know & then stopped speaking. I had to say hello to see if she was still on the line! After that I asked for my money back and for the order to be cancelled. Before we got off the phone I was going to ask if I would receive an email to verify the cancellation of the order but like the cherry on an ice cream sunday she topped off my negative experience with a dial tone and no answer to my question.
