We'll, I thought we were sitting down for a cocktail and to my surprise we sat down for dinner as well, an was I surprised and impressed with both! What a great place! Or first time in Fells Point just browsing around the area we go into a place called "Broadway Market". Third time in my life walking through a market like this of different food vendors to choose from. Love this! Well right smack in the middle of the marketplace was a bar. I figured okay let's grab a drink then we'll go have dinner elsewhere. Well, was I glad we stopped here. We sat down to see there cocktail menu an noticed their food menu as well. I was happy to see some of my favorites, not your typical bar foods. There was most delicious Indian food with layers of flavors an spices that made me smile from ear to ear! After asking for their cocktail called "Diamond Love" I asked for his recommendation he said, Mo-mo's an the couple across from us also recommended them. So, I ordered the fried Mo-mo chicken dumplings (first time trying, can't wait to go back again for more), Vegetable Samosas and Lamb Tikka Marsala. All was oh so flavorful and delicious! I definitely recommend giving Everest Spice Bar and Grill a try. Flavorful...
Read moreI came here to eat with family that was visiting, and the service was excellent. The employees were very warm and friendly. It felt very inviting. And I was hungry. When the food was served I felt enveloped by the smell, like, I started to smell it as they approached. We ordered a lot of food too for a good price (I'm sorry but I forget what it was priced at, but I remember it being reasonably cheap. I believe it was a very good price) and I was surprised by how big the servings were. The food was good too! There was a a lot of meat with the dishes too. I also really liked their mango lassai was also very good. I was also considering buying waffles and chicken before ordering from Everest Spice because it's a big hunk of meat and waffles and I wanted to be full. My brother ordered that and it arrived before the food from Everest Spice, so I was kinda eyeing it and wondering if I had made a mistake. But the food from Everest Spice was very filling and felt like a proper meal, so I was very glad. I also really liked their gulab jamun...
Read moreLast night my sister and I checked out Everest Spice for carryout after having gotten a flyer in her doorway. We phone-ordered for pick-up the lamb curry and chicken curry, medium spiciness, and the garlic naan. The place was easy to find in Broadway Market's north shed (opposite the south shed housing Choptank). The vibe in the north shed was classic Fell's Point (where I grew up) albeit 2023 updated. Bikash behind the counter at Everest Spice was friendly and helpful as we picked up our order. My sister asked for raita yogurt sauce and there was no extra charge. Once we got home a few blocks away, the food was FRESH and DELICIOUS and not overcooked (which chicken especially many times is). Next time, I'll try mild spiciness - the medium tested my personal limit, however I enjoyed the challenge! Hey, it's in the name, after all. We'll be...
