Bier Garten — Restaurant in Bangor Township

Not overly impressed, haven't been there in over a year and was hoping for better than my last visit. Ordered the nachos with sautéed green olives which came out cold in a side cup, chips were cold with Luke warm burger and Luke warm liquid cheese, took them home to put in the oven to be able to eat them. Tried the new deep fried Won Ton Duck pieces .... the outside was nice and crispy but the inside was cold. The chicken fingers were actually good plus hot! Bar Tender ..... Let's just say that his sweat pants and Hoodie is meant for his couch at home..... Sorry, but if you worked for me there is a dress code ,you are not at Walmart shopping or in your living room watching tv ! Slobbish! Other places were very busy in the area .... this place had minimal people and as were were leaving another couple walked in and couldn't believe how empty it was at 7:30 ... the staff excuse was because it was hunting season ..... I was skeptical when we walked in but holy smokes this place blew me away. The cowboy burger is glistening. The pulled pork on a juicy burger patty sits on the softest pretzel bun I've ever tasted. I'm sorry I didn't order one for myself. Luckily my partner was kind enough to indulge 2-3 bites, because one wasn't enough. The poutine is a generous helping of thicc cut fries savory, gravy, and beer cheese that is a meal in and of itself. The duck wontons were a fun spin on a Rangoon, with smokey cream cheese filling and a ginger chili sauce. The service was exceptional, they were understaffed but over performed. 10/10 a must stop whether you're a townie...

I was there around noon with five other people and there was nobody else there until we got ready to leave around two. With that said the menu is now pretty much just burgers which were good but I've had better, the prices are just alright but I did like the no tax thing.(Great idea) The atmosphere is nice with the new remodel but must have to pay for it by not turning on the heat. We all froze even after mentioning it to the waitress, which made it uncomfortable to enjoy your lunch. Nothing special about this place anymore,...
