Update 7/10/2018 I've been getting takeout weekly... unfortunately I can no longer recommend Tiki Port specifically for takeout. 3 takeout orders wrong in a row - same item ordered.
After an order being made wrong (Chicken Chow mein) first one bland, had no celery-which is one of 4 main ingredients. The next visit I let them know the prior order wasn't made like normal and asked them to make sure it had celery and was made right. 2nd order when I got home had dried out cubed chicken which tasted like canned chicken instead of the normal juicy thin sliced.. Gets me to tonight, I ask to speak to the manager, I explained the last two orders and what went wrong, he then said, well you didn't call right when it happened so we don't know who did it.. Like I was either making it up, or was just trying to get a free meal. Which I definitely wasn't looking for anything free, I just wanted the same meal I had gotten at least a dozen times before and have been craving... Generally If you bring it to the managers attention it gets corrected and life moves on.
Not tonight. Tonight after I ordered I was sitting in the lobby, and a server brought out a fancy silver pot with chicken chow mein in it and showed me it saying *this is what you'll get, is it ok?" I was kinda taken aback by him presenting it in a fancy pot, acting like I expected something special. Not my intention, again, I just wanted it made like they used to. A few minutes later my bag was given to me. I took it to my car, started driving home, and thought that I better just double check it, even though he had shown it to me. This time, there was no crispy noodles (again one of the 4 or so main ingredients) So I went back to the restaurant, and again asked for the manager, but this time he waved me off and said "you can talk to the front counter" really sir??? I literally just talked to you 10-minutes ago about 2 other messed up orders and I leave and return and you can't even bother to see what's wrong again tonight? At this point I was fuming, I wasn't being nit picky, these weren't "subjective mistakes" it was major ingredient errors... As I was waiting for the noodles, the normal cashier came back from a delivery and noticed how pissed I was and asked me what was wrong (I've been here enough he recognized me). 1st time mistake, it happens... 2nd mistakes not so hot... But 3rd time in a row, and with the way the manager responded.. Strikes out.... I'll not risk a 4th... The food has potential to be amazing, but apparently they no longer care...
If you decide to eat their food, only do it in the dining room where they can fix it right away if it's messed up, otherwise, you're on your own...

Read moreThe staff is great.. The food is terrible. If you can't make simple delicious pork fried rice ,then just close down. Cape Cod has some of the WORST Chinese Food in America. This place does have some quality food items but, they FAIL on the basics .Polynesian/American food should start with GREAT Fried rice. They have the color correct (dark brown) but..that's it. It leaves a chemically after taste that disappoints with every bite. The wings are slightly sub-par at BEST. The Crab Rangoons are very good, Chicken/Beef teriyaki are on the thin side but, they're not all bad, their Lo-Mein is good, Chow-Mein is gross. I have had a love/hate relationship with Tiki Port over the past 15 years & as the quality has steadily declined I can now say that I am done with them. Parking is an insurance claim waiting to happen. It is VERY Handicapped accessible but, I think Handicapped people have suffered enough than to serve them lousy food. Get your Fried Rice Recipe right & maybe, you'll earn back this customer & I'd be EXTATIC about changing my review. I'm rooting for you Tiki Port.

Read moreTonight myself, mom, uncle, and moms friend went to Tiki Port and sat at the bar to eat dinner. We were having a nice time eating and chatting until uncle who was apparently drunk started verbally abusing my mother in front of everyone at the bar and brought my moms friend to tears. The bartender witnessed all of this. Instead of getting our bill and helping us get out of the situation, he packed up my uncles food for him so he could leave and saddled us with his bill. My uncle goes there frequently (which was apparent when he was brought his usual drink that he didn't order out loud) and it appears that the bartender was helping his regular customer out instead of taking our distress into consideration and helping us get out of the situation. Frankly it was hugely disappointing and made a bad situation even worse. It would have been nice to even receive an apology for the misunderstanding but he just put the blame back on us and said we should have said something if we didn't want to pay for my uncles meal even though we had never said we were going to and he had just admitted to witnessing us being harassed. The food was fine, but it was upsetting that they supported an abuser instead of a victim in their place...
