Cavoni’s Pizza & Grinders - Battle Creek — Restaurant in Battle Creek

So my original post on social media was deleted and then I was blocked , SORRY NOT SORRY FB isn't the only way to get the word out and I can see I am not the only one that thinks this place has horrible customer service!

I tried ordering lunch for the office I work at, around 60-70 for just lunch. Their phones weren't working, I actually made the extra effort to call Hillsdale site to see if they were co-owned so someone could notify the owner of said issue given my order was cancelled because the company delivering couldn't reach the business.

I finally got through thinking 'hey now lets try again' However upon my call I was trying to explain " we tried ordering but your phones weren't working and I'd like to" … only to get cut off with , "idk what YOU'RE talking about , you just called so obviously they work" …I promptly informed her "NO , they weren't , that is what I am trying to say but never mind you don't want the business no worries. Not knowing if it was a bad staff member or the owner I made a review on FB only to have an excuse that I was the one who was rude because I hung up as they were trying to explain to me!??! what , you didn't even know what I was talking about!! CLEARLY most adults will not be spoken to like an idiot and take it. What really got me was the deleting and blocking!!

Well it's on GOOGLE , so good luck, also WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER!! Besides there are plenty of local businesses that deserve my money and this isn't one of...

This place is subpar at best. The pizza was okay and the experience was bad.

I called ahead and ordered a BBQ grinder and a pizza, they said 25 min. Got there and paid immediately. They said it wasn't done. I told the staff I would be sitting at a table and waiting. I was able to see the counter from the spot I was waiting at. After 46 from the initial phone call I went up to the counter and asked the status of my pizza. She says she called my name a while ago and took the pizza off of a counter in the back. It had no warmer, most pizza places put it on top of the oven to keep it warm. I take the food back to the table and everything looks awful. The grinder is soggy, has no toppings and barely any bbq sauce (BBQ is in the name of this sandwich). It had crappy meat, a dash of sauce and cheese with soggy bread. The pizza was just okay. The dough didn't rise. Maybe they have no idea what they are doing? The toppings and cheese were just okay. This used to be the go-too pizza joint. NOT ANYMORE my friends!!! Orders always wrong. Manager lady is always right no matter what you say. And no discounts offered when your order is wrong and u have to wait longer. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND! My food was indeed incorrect and my sandwich was put on a shelf and very soggy and re-servered to me with the correct skins. Was suspicious that sandwich was correct looked like someone picked off the green peppers that were not supposed to be on it. But was told it was ok. Additional wait was 15 mins. I was extremely patient and kind until I was yelled at by Mgr. Because they didn't read correctly written ticket after already waiting 45 mins. Her excuses were 1. We are busy. 2. The cheese covered the incorrect food item. 3. We have new people.... I suspect all the time with your attitude MAme. She also yelled at her young employees infront of everyone. I felt extremely sorry for them. Sometimes TEACHING IS A BETTER FORM OF COMMUNICATION THAN YELLING. Please do better as a business owner...
