I am so impressed for the beauty of this place. You will feel you are in Morocco! The staff are very friendly and courteous! The place is clean! The performance during our meal was excellent! I had to come closer to the dance floor to bring my friend's son to dance with the Belly Dancer and it was a great experience for him and the other kids. The choices of food are very sumptuous and affordable. I had the Special Set of the day and the Lamb, Chicken skewers with couscous are just sooooo good!!! I am wanting to have it for lunch as I write this! The set comes with Salad, Main Course and Baklava dessert! I was so full that I had to take my baklava home! Well, maybe because we had some warm bread when we came and also got appetizers. The one with the goatcheese was excellent! I highly recommend this place in Epcot! Dinning here with family and friends will be an excellent choice either with Disney dinning plan or just Walk-in 😉 We were even able to squeeze in Xenoa's 2nd bday! We asked if we can have the cake we brought in served after our meal. The staff came in with her cake and did a birthday song for her in Moroccan! We added English and Spanish too 😉🎶🎵😊 Highly recommended place to share Magical moments with family, friends and...
Read moreTruly the restaurant to visit if you really want a unique experience that makes it quite enjoyable to leave your comfort zone! The food and atmosphere feel very authentic, and of all the restaurants in Epcot this is the one that makes it easy to forget I'm at Disney. The servers are helpful and patient, and for those concerned about trying something TOO new, there is a picture menu in the front to help you decide on your order.
The center of the dining room has an open floor where musicians play live music and belly dancers perform and occasionally engage the audience. It is much easier to get a seat close to the entertainment if you visit early in the afternoon for lunch. If cost is a concern, the lunch menu is almost identical to the dinner menu and much more affordable!
Lastly, the food itself has a very interesting flavor profile that is quite different from the those I'm used to, though not extremely so. Enough to feel like I'm trying something new without being too intimidated. Portions are generous and the server was happy to answer any questions we had about the food. Couscous comes highly recommended (it's a Moroccan staple) and the beef brewat rolls were a favorite...
Read moreFirst, I will start with the positive notes of my experience. The atmosphere is beautiful, inviting and the live entertainment made for a fun, family friendly environment. The service was wonderful. The reason I'm giving this restaurant only two stars is because the food was extremely below the standard of what you would expect from a Disney restaurant. The entrées were served to us just slightly above room temperature. The food was bland and the meat was tough. I had the kabobs and they tasted like something you would pay $6.00 for at a food cart downtown at 2:00am. Unfortunately, we paid $30.00 a plate. Believe me, I'm not complaining about the price because we went there expecting spend that type of money. The quality of the food was just not worth it. Not to mention, the horrible number it did on my stomach when everything was all said and done. Moral of the story is, if you want to have a delicious meal at Epcot, pick literally any other restaurant in the showcase and eat there instead. The prices will all be similar but at least the food quality will be worth it. Needless to say, we will...
