So I've been to this place a couple of times now. It's a typical Disney counter service restaurant, and it serves three star burgers. I'm happy that it lets me upgrade the bacon cheeseburger into a double, because Animal Kingdom is so much walking that it leaves me ravenously hungry. This place is different in two ways, however, and those ways are why I give it four stars. First, it has a soda fountain in it, which not all Disney counter services eateries do. It's much appreciated for those of us who need a little bit more caffeine to keep us going. Second, along with your burger purchase, or whatever you buy, you get access to an unlimited topping bar so you can make whatever kind of burger you want. Toppings available to you include all the typical veggies, sauteed mushrooms, chili, a few different cheeses, and something that you do not see very often, guacamole. That's a premium item at most places, but this place has it readily available for you to scoop up as much as you want! Overall, like I said, the baseline food is three stars worth, but the little things that make this place different bump it up to a four star place for me and put this place on the map for me in my mind among the sea of other, more forgettable Disney counter services restaurants.

Initially the idea of eating at a theme park, let alone the “happiest place on earth” would lead up to certain dining expectations. Walking into the restaurant was actually nice, the entrance, location (at this section of the park) was close and had low stairs as well as a ramp for those needing it. Upon entrance you are greeted with a menu that is easy to read and understand. The layout in the interior is nice as well, with the dining sections spaced properly and a small area for drinks (fountain) and some condiments (which was not stocked) and such. That’s the end of everything being “nice”. Placing my order was a slight hassle as the woman working the register was rude from the moment she saw us, telling me and my husband to walk back to the entrance and follow the guided spots on the floor. It wouldn’t have been an issue but firstly, we were spoken to by the host/greeter who told us the same thing and we followed the directions simply. Thinking nothing of it, we reviewed the menu (which the cashier didn’t appreciate us taking our time and even going so far as to say so) the menu was simple so we ordered and received our receipt and ticket number. We were the only guests in the establishment at this time. Our food took around 35+ minutes and was gross.

What a great place to cool off with a drink in Dino Land Dinoland is in Animal Kingdom. It is the first large area to the right as you enter the park and move counterclockwise around the Tree of Life. The restaurant is a large complex to the right of the Dinoland entryway, past the boneyard. This is the lounge associated with the Restaurantosaurus location. It is located on the northeast corner of the entire restaurant complex. It has it’s own entryway and signage. The lounge is a small area with only about 4 tall tables scattered around the counter where various drinks are served, however it is linked through the back door to the seating for the remainder of the restaurant. This gives it plenty of seating and areas to relax both inside and out. They serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. The area was well marked and clean. The staff was friendly and the drinks were cool, refreshing and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this location to any fellow travelers when you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the park or the heat of the Florida sun. Enjoy and try several different drinks from their menu.

I realize we were at Disney and everything is expensive but I do expect a better experience throughout the parks. The service here is slow but at least the cast members are friendly. It took an extremely long time just to place our order and because we had an allergen warning for one person it took three times as long to receive our order. Once we received our food it was basically lukewarm but did taste good. I ordered the footlong chili cheese dog with onions and pickles which they put on the side. What I didn't realize was that this was a jumbo hot dog that is clearly just over a footlong. This was way too big for me but I also don't like to waste and I knew we'd be going around the park. While we were waiting for our order I saw 15 or 20 of these go out and mine had a lot more cheese than any other one I saw. I double checked before I ordered it that it was an all beef hot dog. I have to say that it was really good but it did have too much cheese. Conveniently I was able to use the french fries to dip in the chili and cheese to help make it a little easier going down. As the french fries were almost cold it also helped with the flavor. We of course dined inside and it was extremely busy and difficult to get around to a table with a wheelchair. We did...

You will find this place in dino land. First thing first, don't get caught standing in the wrong line. Depending on where you enter, there is a line in the back for the bar inside the restaurant. Doesn't serve food and can get backed up. Tood there in that line for 17 minutes until we asked about the food and was instructed by a staff member this was not the line. Got drinks anyway there, then proceeded to the food section. I mean why not? Food selection was what you would call lunch food for a day in the backyard. My group had the burger, the chicken tenders, and hot dog. All came with a side, we chose fries. Food was hot so be careful. Burgers come to order, and tenders are as you expect them to be. If your little ones like hot dogs you can save on two by buying one and cutting it in half, it is that big. You can get it plain, with chili, and with cheese. You have to wait up front and they will bring you your order on a tray. If any mix up with the order, tell them immediately and they will correct it, no extra charge. You fix your own drink at the soda fountain. The draw back is the seating. It is limited inside and out. You have to secure a spot while waiting, a job for those not paying after the order. Overall great place to take a break and...
