Los Chilangos — Restaurant in Bellevue

I have been wanting to try this place since I moved to the area due to the amazing reviews. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed in the food AND the service I received.

I used their online ordering system to get my food (maybe this is where I went wrong). Placing my order was really easy, and I paid online. It said my order was going to be ready in 15 minutes. It took more like 40 minutes for me to receive my food. There were a few other people around me who had been waiting 1.5+ hours at that point for their orders. I confirmed literally 4 times with the guy at the truck that it was my order because the bag looked a little small, and he confirmed it each time, and was very rude. The guy was also extremely rude when I first walked up to the window to ask about my order— Im not a loud or angry person, so I was taken aback when my question about my order was met by this guy’s attitude. I checked my food, and it was completely the incorrect order. Nothing I had ordered was in the bag I was handed. I was so frustrated by the guy at the window and too flustered to go back and have the order corrected. I went home immediately.

To make things worse, the food I received was underwhelming. Nothing was seasoned. I considered giving the carne asada tacos to my dog since they were lacking so much seasoning and even salt. I had ordered for myself and my roommate and paid $40 for food for 2, but only received half the amount of food. We did not finish the small portion of food we had received. I wish I had the patience to even attempt to get my money back, but I’m never going back to this taco truck.

I don’t know if this was a fluke because of Cinco de Mayo and the taco rush, but there’s never an excuse for awful...

Wedding Catering: We had Los Chilangos cater our wedding and they did such an awesome job. They made it fun and unique by bringing their very well-maintained and beautiful taco truck to our wedding. Guests order at the window and then wait about 10 minutes for their order to come out and then load up they’re plates with beans and rice (extra), They ask for a table to set up chips, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. The quality of the food was amazing and the variety and choices really delighted our guests, especially vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests who normally don’t have such great choices. The best part was that there was no clean up and no having place settings and rental dishes etc. at the wedding. The price is absolutely and entirely fitting and reasonable for what we got. I would absolutely recommend the service and use it again for another event in a heartbeat

Regular Dining: Delicious Mexican food from a good looking taco truck. They have lots of options for people with various dietary restrictions. Can even get your burrito in a bowl and they’ve got veggie tacos. We loved the carnitas and tacos Al pastor the best and the chips and guacamole were great. We’re so glad we got horchata, wow delicious! And fast...

So I’m new to this area and finding a good taco truck is hard to come by ! So I found this one near me and decided to try it. The first time I visited this place my husband ordered 5 pork tacos (adobada) and when he came in the car and I opened them they were beef (asada) 🤦🏻‍♀️ They were really ok but I don’t like beef tacos I always order adobada! Being 36 weeks pregnant and craving pork tacos and not getting them was a disappointment !! So I go here again for the second time with high hopes hoping I get my order right this time and when I ordered adobada tacos I get pastor 🤦🏻‍♀️ I dislike pineapple on my food so I just took it off and ate it 🙄 then for the third time I come here and decide to tell them last time I came they gave me pastor instead of adobada they said they don’t have adobada it’s just pastor 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄 like wow why couldn’t U say that last time !! So I ordered 4 tacos without the pineapple and pork chilaquiles….the tacos tortilla was so dry I couldn’t even enjoy it at all!!! The chilaquiles were made with tortilla chips ! Chips!
