The staff who work here are incredibly friendly and wonderful. However, this location engages in anti-union busting practices and management is rude to any customers who express support for unions. I witnessed some customers kicked out of the store when they began trying to educate other consumers about local unionization efforts. If Starbucks is willing to engage in anti-union activity in front of a full store of customers, I can only imagine what they do here behind closed doors. If you can, go to one of the other Starbucks locations that have unionized, and aren't kicking out customers who express support. This morning, I was in a rush to gather supplies from multiple businesses after my coworker fell ill. I called Fairhaven Parkway Starbucks to order carafes of coffee, knowing it was a busy time. The woman who answered assured me they would do their best to have my order ready in 20 minutes.
When I arrived, everything was perfectly prepared, complete with creamer, cups, stirring sticks, napkins, and sugar. I quickly paid and was on my way!
