So grateful to The Maybourne Beverly Hills for all the incredible memories and experiences. I was blown away by their white glove service, and their genuine warm and attentive luxury hospitality. You definitely feel that you are in Beverly Hills. ||Nothing beats the location. In the heart of Beverly Hills, steps from Rodeo Drive.||Angela in Reservations makes every visit to The Maybourne very special. She is thoughtful, thorough, and meticulous. Her attention to detail, and her warm welcoming hospitality do not go unnoticed. She is truly gifted at what she does. This individual truly has an interest in guests and guest experience. Angela, you have a bright future in luxury hospitality!||I love the Maybourne Cafe! Whether you sit indoors or outdoors, it's a win win. Both are fabulous. The inside of The Maybourne Cafe has award winning decor. It's so sunshiny and cheerful. I love the tile floors. I love the color palette. So pretty. The outside seating area for The Cafe, has super comfy patio chairs and couches for lazy afternoons and lounging. The extra care you receive at The Maybourne Cafe is exquisite. Everyone that works there is amazing. We love coming here and we always have the best time! My favorite dishes are the Claridge Bespoke Tea, the Baja Fish Tacos, and the afogado (so cute with the donuts). ||Definitely one of the highlights at The Maybourne Beverly Hills is the Christmas Season. This place is a must at Christmas. The Maybourne goes all out, with the most spectacular Christmas Tree and decorations. It is absolutely stunning and not to be missed. The Christmas decorations and lights that grace the Beverly Canon Gardens is stunning every year!||I would like to give a shout out to Yoshi at the hotel Front Desk. He provided a very memorable experience. I went to the Front Desk about a year ago to set up a tour of The Spa. I was truly impressed, actually blown away, by the level of service, and the warm attentive hospitality I received from Yoshi. He took care of every last detail of my request, ensured that I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of The Spa. So much to the point, that I've booked several treatments at The Spa since then. ||If you are looking for a facial, I recommend Sachiko at The Spa. She has an exquisite, delicate, and well trained touch. If you are looking to reclaim that youthful glow on your face, I recommend the Yumi Anti Aging Hydra Derm Facial with Sachiko. Pure Bliss!||I would also like to recognize Marilyn at The Spa Front Desk. Always such a warm welcome, and takes the time to add that personal touch. And always wants to ensure each visit is as special as the last. ||The Spa is all indoors. Sometimes it can get a little busy. I like to also sit outdoors in the beautiful Beverly Canon Gardens. It's so peaceful and relaxing. ||Another favorite retreat at the hotel is the rooftop. I love spending lazy afternoons here. It's so relaxing and I always feel recharged. I love the pool. It's so pretty. Dante's Rooftop Restaurant has spectacular views of the Hollywood Hills. It's a must see at night with all the lights. Simply gorgeous. Some of my favorites are the Faroe Island Salmon, the Pappardelle al Ragu, and the Cosmojito. All fabulous! Justin and Ryan are amazing! They really take the time to add that personal touch, and make sure you enjoy your time at Dante's Rooftop Restaurant. The decor is utterly unique, and really adds to the memorable experience.||We love eating at The Terrace, especially at Christmas Time. Incredible seating right by the amazing Christmas Tree, lights and decorations. Very memorable experience!!||With Love and Gratitude. Thank you to The Maybourne Beverly Hills for creating memorable experiences that...

What really lacks here is the hotel service/room service. Not worthy of it's 5-Star rating. My wife and I travel often and frequent the Wynn Tower Suites in LV, Langham in Chicago, Four Seasons in Seattle and Nevis, and the Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach, among others. Even enjoy the Montage Laguna Beach (our past 2 experiences there drove our decision to stay at Montage BH). All 5 Star Resorts. All far superior in attention to detail and quality of service. According to a previous review, this was the brainchild of the man who did The Bellagio for Steve Wynn. What it completely lacks is the detail of a Steve Wynn property.
I will be fair and accurate. We stayed for 5 nights. Bill will easily exceed $10k. Upon arrival they offered a comp upgrade from a Graden Terrace to a Grand Garden Suite. We politely declined BC we wanted a terrace to enjoy bfast on, and I enjoy a daily cigar. Very nice touch.
Room service food is fair. No Wynn or Langham. Called to inquire abt cereals they offered, was put on hold 5 minutes, lady came back, but forgot what they offered. Back on hold for another 5 minutes. Came back and told me the 3 cereals they had. In a 5 Star, not knowing a realatively stripped down menu is a complete lack of training/detail. We had bfast late morning (around 10). As I write this review at 11:55 pm, our dishes are still on the terrace. While out of the room for the better part of the day, they did service it, but merely stacked the dishes on the cart. Upon returning to the room at 8 pm, we called room service to ask them to retrieved the dishes. No one came.
Turn down service showed up abt 9 pm, walked into our suite, didn't ring the doorbell (2nd time for the day, 3rd for the trip that someone walked into our suite without knocking or ringing the doorbell) and started to enter our bedroom (door was closed). My wife and I were, thankfully, fully clothed and only visiting. The lady realized we were in our room and called out to us. We asked her if they could come get the dishes. She said she would contact room service. Again no one showed. Retrieving dishes is obviously not a priority here. We have walked past room service carts that have been sitting in hallway for over 2 hours a few times during our stay.
My wife called the front desk for a foam pillow and extra blanket on our 4th night here. It took them almost 40 minutes and 3 phone calls to bring them to the room.
One day we decided to grab a bite and then swim in the pool. We called the front desk and they said poolside dining was available until 5 pm. We arrived at the pool at 4:45, asked if we could have a table and explained we wanted to order some food. Place was not very busy. Hostess took only a minute to seat us. On way to table server/pool attendant stopped us and said last call was at 4:45. It was 4:48. Two issues here:
The front desk and bellmen are pleasant, as are the valets. The behind the scenes operation of the actual hotel is where it truly lacks. In some key areas of the hotel, the staff is poorly trained and lacks understanding of basic customer service. I know people are human and everyone has an off-day. Too many misses here, though. Especially for the cost and unwarranted rating. I'm not a demanding, difficult individual, but when I spend $10k + for a 5 night stay, I expect the basics to be covered. Heading to the Wynn Tower Suites next month for 6 nights. After 30+ visits there I know I won't have this type...

Yet so few Luxury Resorts these days rise to the occasion.||Sure: they may be expensively adorned and decored with the lux-iest swag that money can by- but you still feel like a bit of an Outsider. And you can almost feel (no matter how generously you've paid for that deluxe suite or that fancy cocktail) like you're on borrowed time, slightly not part of the extraordinary World you're visiting...||But... NOT AT THE MAYBOURNE. You truly are welcomed in and made to feel like an A-Lister the MOMENT you turn off your ignition and a team of Valet graciously rush to blanket you in hospitality.||I could go on and on (and on and on and on... for pages) about every incredible detail. So I'll cut to the chase:||The decor (an exquisite combination of old-world elegance and contemporary furnishings and Fine Art) is the most enchanting I've yet to experience on EITHER coast. Luxurious yet comfy, and so beautifully cleaned that every surface feels brand new. (And as they spend generously on continual refurbishments and updates, like ARE brand new!).||The service, from the Concierge (THANK YOU KEVIN!), to the Wait Staff (special commendation to Desmond in the Cafe!), all the way up to the Executive Office (Chelsea) and General Managers (Mr. Wylde, and new GM Jim Lyons) went SO above and beyond to ensure that our time here was nothing short of a sincere slice of Heaven...||And the FOOD - o merde - TRULY out of this world.|'Gourmet' and 'Artisinal' and 'Michelin-starred' are all the usual adornments thrown at next-level dining... but down to the cocktails and carefully-curated wine list... Each gender has their own private 'pre-spa' areas complete with jacuzzi and upscale private closets... and the Spa itself is over 20,000 sq. ft., mulit-level'd luxury (with a special mineral pool to soak in pre-treatment). We were pampered, relaxed and rejuvenated - we genuinely felt re-born, ready to tackle life again!||As for the ROOMS: if you peruse most of the other reviews here you'll see the same deserved lauds: luxury-brand mattresses, linens that are divine, cozy comfy and super luxe accommodations no matter if you're staying in the California Suite (NOT TO BE SKIPPED IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT!!!) down to the very last 'regular' Guest rooms.||There's a few V.I.P. perks for GUESTS & CELEBS (a sinfully-secret Speak Easy!
