Van Brocklin's Bakery — Restaurant in Big Rapids

Used to be one of the best doughnuts ever but they changed their long john filling and now I won't even buy them. Cost has risen steadily over past year, and with the changes in recipes my rating slips to 4 stars. Update: tried the Long John again and it appears that they have changed the filling back to the liquid gold recipe. Back to 5...

Don't really know how to say how so very good the bakery items are at Van Brocklin's Bakery and I've been very many places trying out bakery speciliaties in Tokyo, Seoul, Cologne, Toronto, Hamburg and throughout the countryside of France, a lake town in Switzerland. Van Brocklin's holds its own among them all....
