Went back again to try it again here recently January 2nd of 2025....... Obviously the AC was not a problem for this time of the year but the highchair they gave us to put our Grandson in was not good at all. I have to say it has not been a very good experience the last couple of times. I will try to upload the video of the highchair........it had a broken support at the bottom and none of the screws were tight and that not only caused instability but also pinch points and the potential for it to hurt our Grandson. I could not find our waitress and then when I did and asked her for her assistance, she blew me off and told me I would have to wait. I went to get one myself and she finally come over and asked if she could help me and I asked her for the manager on duty and she said she was the manager. The food is good but the AC SUCKS!!! 92°F outside and literally feels like a wet Louisiana evening. They have wet floor signs out due to the condensation on the tiles. I would hate to be a cook here working over that hot grill. These are safety concerns........ Hot temperatures! Slippery floors! It's probably a good chance that the staff is sweating over your food.........that is not the employee's fault! I have worked outside fabricating and welding all of my life in Oklahoma...........I am conditioned for our weather, so when I say it is hot inside, there is definitely a problem. I asked if the AC was broken, their response was "no, we just have a smaller AC unit that can not keep up with the heat. We even had to put up closed signs and couldn't work because it was so hot in here."

At the time of this review, this place has a 4.2 rating, which made us curious to try it out. I know I'm rating this place low, but I have very valid reasons—so let me get into the details. First of all, the service was great, and that’s probably the only thing preventing a 1-star rating because the food was that bad. We ordered the bacon taco, the large spicy hot bowl, and the large drunken noodle bowl. The tacos were overly salty but still edible enough for a hungry man. When the bowls came out, I was trying to find a way to justify the $22 price tag on each dish. The portion size wasn’t there(see photos for context), the presentation was okay, and most importantly, the taste wasn’t there. A total head-scratcher at best. I would describe the spicy hot steak stir fry as the equivalent of walking into the Asian aisle at your local grocery store, picking out a random generic stir-fry sauce, a pack of meat, and some random veggies, then stir-frying it all together. This almost never tastes good, and this meal was exactly that. The drunken noodles were horrible as well, with a bitterness that did not complement the dish—again, very generic, "Asian aisle stir-fry noodle" tasting. Definitely a first-and-last-time kind of place.

I used to really love this place when it was on Cherry Street. But unless you like having the air conditioner drip condensation in your hair, on your clothes and in your bowl of food I would suggest you stay away from the one in Bixby Oklahoma. When I asked to move to another booth or table bc it was dripping on my head and on my back and in the floor beside me and then in my food the answer I received was since there were only two of us we would not be able to move bc the other tables were for bigger parties. EVEN THOUGH THE RESTAURANT IS PRETTY MUCH EMPTY. When my husband spoke to the manager about it he basically told him that he told the waitress we could move to the next table though she never came and moved us. Basically not his problem and it obviously wasn't the waitress problem either bc neither of them were getting dripped on. Honestly we should have just walked out. Hands down the worst service ever. And I paid $52 for it. Will definitely not ever be back.

So I’ve been coming here since 2013 when I was a high school student and I’ve always loved gg and others alike. Today tho I walked in stores completely empty at 4 pm thought it was a lil off cause it’s usually always busy but no biggie. The man who greeted me was very kind and helpful. When I got to the buffet tho it smelled bad looked bad one thing that really stuck out was how unappetizing the steak was brown, which generally only happens when it’s sat out for too long, so I settled for the chicken and then when I got to the veggies, several of the veggies that I really enjoy look completely uneditable to me like soggy and discolored I asked the gentleman who greeted me how I went about making my bowl and from what I understood from him I was supposed to put my veggies on the tray and I put the meat that I selected in the small bowl that they gave me then some guy came up to me and told me that that’s not how I’m supposed to do it and that I needed to redo it and I’m looking at him like what do you want me to do just scoop this up with my hand and throw it in my bowl like I’m not that upset that I’m losing probably most of the veggies that I selected which it was already slim Pickens to begin with but now you’re asking me to rearrange my plate which he did give me a glove to do it. He wasn’t very mean it’s just his approach in my opinion was not as hospitable and professional as it should have been, but I do understand where the man was coming from so at this point, I have not gotten to try my food yet and I’m not gonna lie. I’m a little nervous about that. I only got a small this time when I usually get a large because obviously the small is literally half the price of a large which is like almost $25 I believe so whether you’re paying 10 bucks or $25 or more I would expect that all the food to be appetizing looking and taste good and I would expect a lot clearer instructions on how they want us to assemble our plates so that the cook can prepare it correctly. Honestly, I wanted to give this place a much lower review because I’ve had tons of people Tell me that they don’t like eating at these Mongolian grill style places because of these reasons that I’m mentioning I never personally had an issue with it until today and I generally don’t like to leave reviews especially bad ones, but I feel like this one is warranted. I really do like this place and I would like to see some correction be made. I will be back again. Hopefully, unless my food is just completely disgusting and makes me feel sick. I will be back. Please take better care of the buffet cold unit hot unit whatever you wanna call it and make sure that the food that you’re presenting to us as customers is appetizing and makes us feel good about spending whatever amount of money we’re spending to dine in here at this establishment again I was about to give this place a much lower review like one or two stars but to me that’s just not fair like I said I have a long history with this place. The food in the past to me has been very good and so is the service so I know things have changed. I know times are harder and things are more expensive and people aren’t spending as much money as they used to, but please try and preserve this establishment a little better. It’d be very highly appreciated your loyal customer...

Where to start...

First off, I hadn't eaten at a Ghengis Grill in years, but I remembered liking their food and decided to take my kids out to eat, along with my father.

The first thing I thought was strange was when my father ordered his food spicy, the waitress told us to hold on and walked off. She came back a minute later with another waiter who thought we had a question, which we didn't. Waiter 2 explains to my father that there's red peppers in his dish. My father asked if they're spicy and he says no, so he asks for it to be made spicy. 2nd waiter then states there's red peppers in the dish AGAIN, but they're not spicy. But oh! There's a spicy chili paste they can add if he wants spicy food! Ok great, he wants that.

Mine came with onion, which I despise. I asked if it could be left out but I was told no, so I accepted it and figured I could pick them out myself. I wasn't aware I could get white rice, which I much prefer. Waiter 1 and waiter 2 did not offer that option. At this point we were extremely tempted to pay for our drinks and eat elsewhere, but then...

My daughters food came out first; 10 minutes before any of ours did. It was a simple Mac and cheese, but it was obviously from the day before and heated up in the microwave. Absolutely awful! We ended up sending it back when the waitress finally came out with our food. My food was terribly bland. The shrimp looked old and dried out and the entire thing had no flavor at all. My father's food was spicy and the best tasting thing there, but was also just spicy and extremely bland. Did they run out of spices??

And last, but certainly not least, my sons food. He had been sitting there staring at his bowl while we were trying to stomach the awful food. We asked for the check and as she went to get it, my son tells us that his food is gross. We both tried it and it literally tasted like wet dog. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted.

I took mine home to maybe somehow get some flavor in it, because like I said, it used to be good! But I ended up getting mild food poisoning from eating it the first time and tossed it. I will never come to this location again. I'm disgusted that my kids were served such awful food. With how quickly their food was taken off the tab and without any fuss, I assume that they knew their food was...
