The positive, the store is super clean and the people are fun and friendly. On the flip side, it is expensive and for what you get it wasn't really worth $5, was just a flower tortilla with a small slim fried chicken strip about the size of your thumb and twice as long, some honey (which made a huge mess) and a little lettuce. The chips were very unique, we had not had chips like that anywhere else (and probably a good reason). Bunch of smaller broken ones completely unusable for dipping. The 1/2 order of nachos wasn't too bad, I think that was sour cream on top, didn't really taste like it and had the consistency of caulking. now the sopapilla's were amazing. Overall the meal was 'ok', nothing special or delicious, just bland. Our meal as shown came to $30, 95% chips that were just not very good, queso not really good either. Now directly across the street is an Applebee's where you can get 2 for $29 appetizer w/ meals that will leave you quite satisfied. just is what it is, there is no value here that we saw. As for feeding the children, T4L reports they donate $0.24 cents of each item to the cause. So we donated $.50 cents out of our $30 tab. Sure doesn't sound like a lot, mind you they "donate one meal for each meal purchased". Do you really know what that means? What size is this 'meal' and what is their definition of this 'meal'? You get your regular meal and the starving children get a rice/soy/veggie packet (from the T4L web site). Not the same 'meal' you...

We waited for a few weeks before trying Tacos 4 Life. I think the start of a new location can be hard. As a business owner in Blue Springs myself our family trys to keep our close.

Getting to Tacos 4 Life can be a bit tricky, but once you know the route next time won't be as bad.

My wife and I dined in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the staff above everything else. The menu is decent sized and focuses mainly on Tacos as you would expect. Sadly they were out of several items the day we visited. Our food came out and was delivered to our table. This was the first moment we got to speak with our "hostess" Bella. She was very friendly and talked to us about the location. She even took the time to show us the large party room and explain how Tacos 4 Life gives back to hungry children.

The food was just ok. I had plain Tacos which were very good and the fluffy shells were a nice touch. My wife however had carnitas and it was a little over cooked. The chips and salsa where excellent. However, the site in which things were made and cleaned up made up for what I would say is a moment where the reaturant might just need to learn the menu better. I think they have a great concept and with a little more time I bet they get it!

Thank you Bella again for taking the time to talk to us. Without you the Tasting would not have been this good for the first visit.

We will for...

We have been waiting on this place to open ever since like last week so we were finally able to try it out Thursday 11.17 - it was extremely busy since it was newly opened. I was most definitely impressed with the fact that the restaurant was clean and continuously cleaned while we waited for our food as we did to go order. The drink station was clean even with it being so busy. Some of the drinks were out which was ok since we came in close to 8pm so I expect something to be out as busy as it was. We were immediately greeted when entering the restaurant, the staff was knowledgeable of the menu and was assisting customers with questions while ordering. The staff did not seem to rush anyone with getting their food ordered properly even with being busy which was a good thing. We got our food within a good timeframe I mean with it being so busy I would not expect to be in and out. The food was good even after bringing it home to eat, quality was still good (not soggy). Chips and salsa was great with the right amount of kick. I did have the corn it was good. My husband had quesadilla and it was mid so next time he will try something else. Assuming the owner Art (franchisee) was very nice...he brought out our food, asked how we were, thanked us for coming in and just made us feel welcome! We will be back to try...

I’ve visited Tacos 4 Life three times now. Two previous times through the drive up window, but today, I wanted to dine in. At my first visit I was thinking, hmm, different, but tasty. Second visit, ordered a couple more items from the menu. Ok, you DEFINITELY have my attention. Today, I want tacos, 🌮 do I go to my same place in Lee’s Summit I’ve went to for the last 29 years or do I go to Tacos For Life? Tacos For Life for the win! I’m hooked! And, what I guess has CAUGHT MY ATTENTION is with your purchase you are helping feed children that go without food in other countries and that warms my heart to know I can help in a small way, but everyone together can make a big difference! I ordered the two tacos 🌮 and chips combo with guacamole 🥑 and a drink. It’s very filling and it doesn’t weigh you down when you leave. I have chips left so I buy a small container of guacamole to take home. It’s soooo fresh! Yummy 😋! The employees are very friendly and outgoing, and not in a BIG HURRY. I’m sure there are rushes but today I got to talk to a very nice employee about the founders of Tacos For Life, which I read about on my cup, Austin and Ashton from Conway, Arkansas. I will be a returning customer and want to try some other entrees on the menu next time I’m here 👍 Can’t wait! 😜
