Sal's Italian Ristorante — Restaurant in Boca Raton

I took my team to Sal's for lunch. 15 people in total. We dined at the 861 Yamato Rd. location, in Boca Raton Florida, 33481. We ordered a total of 8 pizza's. Everything was going well, when suddenly one of my co-workers bit into a huge chunk of glass. Yes, glass was lodged in his pizza slice. We took this over to the manager immediately, as all of our fun came to a screeching halt. This was serious. After the manager looked at the glass in his food he replied "we've made over 105 pizza's today, I have no way of knowing how that glass got in there", he went on to say that he believed it most likely came from the sauce or the cheese, and that he himself did not physically make the pizza, but rather another employee. I was horrified that he was so lax in addressing such a serious concern. Overall it seemed that he could care less that Ralph had munched on a mouthful of glass. Because of this experience I will never be returning to SALS. Once he saw how upset we were, he removed $20 from the bill. Gee thanks guy, that should contribute to his dental xray bills. I been eating at this establishment for some time now, today we decided to try the chicken piccata, when we received the food it wasn't what were use to eating, I thought maybe they should try a different approach when making this dish, I then told the waitress and we inquired about a different dish, the chicken and broccoli, when we tried the cuisine it was the same ingredients as the chicken piccata which the waitress stated it wasn't, I then went to the owner to complain that the second cuisine was the same as the first and ask if we could change it, the owner then stated he couldn't do it because it was the second order, i explain to him we been a long time customer and the food just wasn't good, owner wasn't willing to work with us, we weren't happy with the food, it wasn't very tasty, in fact it was just not good at all. its a shame the owner wasn't able to meet us half way on a less then $10.00 meal when we have spent so much money and encourage other people to eat there, after this experience we will not recommend Sal's nor will we be eating there. there is just to many Italian Restaurants in the area to not accommodate...

I called to purchase lunch for my husband, the girl who answered the phone took my order ensured it would arrive before his lunch was over. I placed the order 1 and 15 min before it was to be delivered. Well after 1 hour and 15 min the food did not arrive like i was told it would. I had to call and ask the status the pizza, the girl who took my order barely spoke English so really couldn't help me. The manager then got on the phone who didn't speak English well either, told me that im not his only customer. They are busy and they food will be there any min, he basically blow me off told me if i wanted a refund he would give me it, if not the food is on its way, he then hung up on me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! THE FOOD WAS LATE, THE PIZZA WAS COLD, AND THE DRIVER ADMITTED SHE WAS NEW AND GOT LOST. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS...
