Definitely glad we stopped here! Not many places in Michigan know how to good BBQ, but this is a place that does it right. You can tell the love and joy the owners get from putting together this food. We got all the meats and nothing let us down. The smoke on the meat was very subtle and not overpowering. Ribs were very tender and slid off the bone. Brisket was top notch. Smoked chicken and pulled pork were delicious. The cheesy potatoes were very unique and worth exploring. The mac and cheese was very well put together. BUT THE CORNBREAD!!!!!! DELICIOUS!!!!! Overall this is a great place to eat and highly recommend to anyone in the area or even going out...

Thought we would go out of our way to try out this BBQ place based on the reviews. I ordered the brisket w/cheesey potatoes and my wife ordered the big daddy sandwich. We dined in and after a ten minute wait our food came out luke warm. The brisket had a lot of fat and tasted so-so. The cheesey potatoes were okay, but still lukewarm. The coleslaw was vinegary and went in the trash. My wife's sandwich was average tasting and she said she would not order it again. All in all, based on our experience we both agreed that for the money we've had much better BBQ dinners at other BBQ places and...

The meats are top notch. So far I've only had the pulled pork and the brisket sandwich. The workers are very friendly maybe the owners also? Really if they compete with other local larger barbecue establishments these sandwiches blow them away. Only thing I would possibly request would be two different kinds of slaw. Maybe a sweeter creamier slaw to add to their current. The two sauces I've had are perfect one is a balance of sweet and Mild the other has a nice Tang /kick. Everyday I pass I see their smokers cranking away! Mother Nature blow that sweet smell up...
