First, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur ( it’s one of my all time favorite foods) I could eat pizza all day and night- that’s how much I love pizza! Unfortunately, I was left very disappointed with my two pizzas that I ordered from this place( my wife felt the same as one of the pizzas was hers) I hate to leave such a bad review...since I like to support local business and had such high expectations from reading the very favorable reviews. The only positive I can offer is...from a visual perspective the pizzas looked very enticing but that’s the only positive about the pizzas. With that said, looks can be deceiving...once I took my first bite, I knew it wasn’t going to be good. The crust was bland and dry( it reminded of cheap frozen pizza- tombstone pizza to be specific concerning the crust ) the sauce was also flavorless ( tasted like it came out of a can of plain tomato sauce) I had the chicken gyro meat...which tasted off( like the chicken meat was bad/spoilt ) I’m not too sure what cheese was used but it didn’t have that melty cheese pull( I wonder if they used real mozzarella cheese). after only eating 3 slices my stomach got very upset, again bad chicken?( my wife’s stomach was upset as well) I really hate to leave such a bad review but if I had read a review like I’m writing...I would of opted to order a slice or two to determine whether or not this pizza would make the grade( I highly suggest to do this before ordering a whole pie) my wife and I only ate a total of 5 slices from two pizzas. The pizzas nearly cost $40.00 and will be thrown away...so,thats $40.00 wasted and a two bad stomachache on top of it all. I had such high hopes for this place( so many comparisons to Athens pizza on the reviews) I’ve eaten many times at Athens pizza and was hoping that this pizza would be similar in nature in quality and taste but has fallen short of that. Again My wife and I were severely disappointed and was hoping that this would be our go to...
Read moreExtremely nice staff. I came in today and had the best restaurant greeting ever. Made me feel all warm and welcome on the inside. They enjoyed walking me through the menu and made recommendations. I noticed that the art here is pretty cool and they have some throwback arcades. The inside is very spacious.
I ordered two pizzas. I wanted to try the John's special and the White Pizza but you are unable to put both on the same pizza. The issue is that they use two different base sauces. Both pizzas are amazing. The artichokes in the White Pizza taste great. John's special is loaded with toppings. Everything on both pizzas taste extremely fresh.
The brownies are amazing. Full of chocolate chips and flavor.
This venue is on the end of a strip mall. There is...
Read moreThe Greek Pizzeria and Gyros is an absolute must-visit! I had a truly outstanding experience at this local treasure. The moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming hospitality made me feel right at home—this is the kind of authentic, family-owned gem that defines Atlanta’s food scene. The cheese pizza was perfection—a flawless balance of crispy, golden crust, rich, melty cheese, and bold, satisfying flavor. To round out my meal, I had a classic Greek gyro, a fresh, vibrant salad, and the most beautifully crafted tzatziki sauce—all made with care and tradition. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a true Atlanta institution that feels like home. I’ll be back many times over. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out! Giving my highest...
