"That Brunch Place" — Restaurant in Brookings

I stopped by That Brunch Place on a late Sunday morning, and it definitely lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome—friendly, attentive, and quick to check in without being overbearing. It’s clear they care about customer service, and it really made a difference.

The menu has a great mix of classic breakfast favorites and creative lunch options. I went with the chicken and waffles and added a side of their signature avocado toast (because why not?). Both were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The coffee was hot and strong, and they didn’t skimp on the refills!

The vibe inside is cozy but modern, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. My only small gripe is that it got a bit loud when it filled up, but that’s just a sign that people love the place.

All in all, That Brunch Place is a must-try if you’re into great food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back to try more...

If you’re anywhere near this spot and haven’t tried it yet—do yourself a favor and go! The breakfast burritos are next-level: perfectly wrapped, generously filled, and packed with flavor. Whether you’re into classic bacon and egg or something with a little heat, they’ve got you covered. Super fresh ingredients and just the right amount of crisp on the outside.

But the real showstopper? The Chetco Deluxe. This thing is a beast in the best possible way—stacked high, rich, savory, and satisfying. You can tell it’s made with care, and every bite hits just right. It’s the kind of brunch you think about long after you’ve left.

The vibe is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out hot and fast. Easily one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots in town....

I was so excited to try the new place, I loved the other one, food and staff awesome. I went in today with my disabled sister and her very well mannered registered service dog and we're refused inside seating only outside. Normally this would have been no problem, but it was hotter than normal and there outside seating had no shade. We were very shocked. Disappointed we didn't get to try the place. My sister is so upset she never wants to go back. So I wish I could give a better review. Everything looked and smelled great. Just not super service dog friendly. Go on a day you don't mind sitting outside. Pancho's has outside...
