I come to Chik-fil-a for two things. Great customer service and fantastic well don’t fries. They’re my absolute favorite.
I wish I had gotten either one in todays trip. I was asked to park so that the timer isn’t counting. They didn’t say that but I worked fast food. I know how much more efficient it is. And I know you get better food for it. However when my food was brought to me. In a timely manner I might add, I was given the food that should have gone to the car next to me.
Not a big deal right? Except I opened it to find that out. My unlicensed food handler hands touched someone else’s food ungloved. In this day of Covid I expect the staff to remake their food. They did not. The same gentleman who gave me my food brought it right back to the other car and sent them on their way.
I then had to wait for my food again. No big deal. My fries are worth the wait. Again I reminded the same gentleman that I had requested well done fries. He said ok, went to the back and came back bearing my food. In what was agin a very timely manner. I went to my car. Sat down and not only are my fries not well done. They’re soggy and some are cold. I dumped them out so that the birds can eat them. I will not eat undercooked fries when they are my favorite part of the meal.
Chicken was fresh, hot and tasty. Fries were fresh cold and soggy, not unlike the service I received today. I’m willing to consider changing this review in the future if chik does better. But for now they got the 2 stars because they had expedient service. Even if they ignored what I’d consider food safety in the Covid time we are...
Read moreUsually I have a great experience there but today of course the day I was in a hurry I was asked to pull up to wait for our drinks. I didn’t understand why they would ask us to pull up for that since that’s something that can be done in a minute but I did so. Well they forgot about us completely and forgot part of our food order I realized. I had both kids in tow and had to go inside where there was a crazy long line and finally got to speak with Greg Ryan and he promptly got everything ready for us. He was apologetic but I was surprised he didn’t offer a card for a free sandwich or anything since that’s a pretty big screw up and if they even ask you to pull up to one of the drive through spaces at the Jon Jones location they give you a card for a freebie automatically. I know he runs that one too so that was surprising. Hopefully those working the drive through can get it together because in the future if they ask me to pull up I’m going to decline for fear they will forget about us again. It’s also just a nightmare trying to back out of there between two lanes of cars coming at you from the drive through and other cars backing out plus employees walking back and forth. I could barely move an inch without someone else coming up behind me, they need a...
Read moreI usually enjoy Chick-fil-A, but this visit was frustrating. The service was just okay, but the communication and accuracy were a problem.
We specifically ordered grilled nuggets — which was important because of a dairy allergy — but we were given regular ones instead. I didn’t open every box right away because I assumed the order would be correct, but after sensing some confusion at the counter, I double-checked the bag. Unfortunately, I was right to be concerned.
The cashier seemed confused throughout the process. We had to repeat our drink order several times — 1 regular Sunjoy, 1 Cherry Berry Sunjoy, and 1 lemonade — but she kept thinking we wanted multiple lemonades. It took a while to sort out. On top of that, we were also missing a medium fry, which thankfully another team member was able to provide after I pointed it out.
What was most disappointing was the lack of initiative from the staff. I stood near the counter waiting to sort out the medium fry mistake, and several workers came and went without asking if I needed help. No one seemed to be attentive.
I understand that mistakes happen, but this one could have been serious due to an allergy. A little more attentiveness and clearer communication would have made a...
