Looking for a great Italian restaurant outside the city? @Osteria Nino in Burlington has you covered! This place actually just happens to be right around the corner from my office and it’s so good! They’ve got so many different options for drinks, apps, pastas and more and it’s definitely worth checking out!! The meatballs were incredible, maybe my favorite dish of the night (although it was hard to choose because everything was so delicious!) We also got their bruschetta trio with a classic, prosciutto & mozzarella, and Gorgonzola & honey tasting. For mains we got a classic chicken parm which was perfect and the bucatini carbonara which was decadent and delicious! Which dish would you try first? #pasta #noodles #italianfood #meatballs #bruschetta #foodanddrink #collab #gifted

Whenever I see foods such as arancini on a menu, I get excited to give the place a whirl. The second plus for Osteria was seeing a carbonara sauce not described as "cream sauce". The restaurant is very inviting and colourful, the host friendly, and our server was wonderful! The restaurant wasn't exceptionally busy when we arrived, but it was rather noisy - despite tables being a good distance away. I imagine a busier time could make it distracting to keep conversation at the table. That would be my only con about the atmosphere. The arancini were so tasty, very well done. I had to give the carbonara a whirl and was pretty disappointed to find that the perciatelli were broken up into small bite-sized pieces, not how pasta should be served, and they were very undercooked. That rather ruined the experience of what would have been a great entrée, especially given that any restaurant should be able to cook pasta. My husband ordered a pizza, which we were able to watch them make in a wood-fired oven, very fun! It was very tasty as well. Overall, I really loved this place, and the undercooked pasta was the only downside - which in an Italian restaurant, it's pretty significant.

Went to dinner here on a Wednesday evening about 6. I got a table in the bar area immediately. Then I waited a good 8-10 minutes before anyone came to get my drink order or even acknowledge that I was there. I came here to try the ribeye but the waitress said I’d be better off with a pasta dish. So I changed to some chicken broccoli pasta dish. The Caesar salad was ok but needed some more dressing. My pasta dish came out fairly quickly and it was super hot. The Alfredo sauce had a good flavor but I think the chicken was boiled with the broccoli instead of grilled. So it was a little tough. I left room for dessert. After asking about chocolate sauce and the waitress saying oh yeah and I’ll get you extra if you want. So I Ordered the tiramisu with extra chocolate sauce hoping to be delighted. But when it came I see it was chocolate syrup. Booo. Sauce and syrup are not the same. Oh well. I ate it and it was ok but nothing to write home about.

First Visit for me and my wife to this location and restaurant. Thought - Why not try something different for a change. Nice Venue in the new development of Burlington - Pictures looked nice online for the dishes served. Waiter came over after about 10 minutes of being seated and seemed like it was going to be a good experience even though we were annoyed it took so long for someone to show up.

Same issue as some other complaints below with lack of attention and never checking in. We ordered our apps from start and then after that the drinks arrived and we put in our main course. The waiter doesn't bring out the food - they have a person from the kitchen delivering all the food for everything but the drinks.

So after our first course arrives the waiter disappears and sits down for 10 minutes never checking in and reading text and probably posting selfies of himself. He finally shows up after I have drank all my soda, ate my main course and asks if he can get us anything else. I said I'll take another Coke or Water - Sure thing I'll be right back. Never came back and literally sat down beside us on the other side of the see through brick wall reading his phone and talking with another waitress and what looked like the manager on her iPad doing nothing herself for at least ten minutes. I couldn't believe my eyes and I told my Wife - I can't anymore sit back while this clown sits and does nothing. So I spoke up pretty loud and asked for my check and the drink that he never got me. Their new Go to line for the Wait Staff - "Off Course" Sorry about That...

If you don't want to work these days and do a good job for what ever it is you do and make an honest days pay - then sit home and collect a check like the rest of the them or Do Your Job and be Attentive your paying customers... My Tip for the bill was not to the waiter, he actually deserved nothing - I gave it to the kid running food out to the tables because the waiter might be the Worst Waiter This Side of the Mississippi... Might be time to reevaluate your restaurant and customer service guidelines or this place with be closed within a year... And you Can't Blame Covid - Just...

Well, this is our second time eating at Nino's and sorry to say it will be our last..There were 4 of us meeting for dinner..first of all I had a hard time choosing a wine ..they have only 2 choices of Pinot Noir ..I chose one it was just ok, however if you are looking for a nice glass to be served from forgot about it..it is served out of a small tumbler..then on to appetizers we ordered the calamari..it was very salty and just ok..the bread was hard and I am not talking crusty hard stale.hard ..I order cacio..e.pepp..it was very good ..my husband ordered shrimp over risotto.when it came it was over a bed of white rice..for $27.00....my cousin ordered veal marsala with brocolini instead of pasta and sure enough it came with pasta ..so that had to go back.. when we asked our server what's with the rice instead of risotto she said that's how they make risotto here..the 4th meal was braised short ribs it was mushy..over cooked is my guess.. the manager came over wanted to give my husband a replacement meal ..he declined.we then said to our waitress we want dessert and coffee..as compensation for just a so so meal which they gave us..With prices like that you would think the chef would know how to cook risotto..sorry this is the last time for us!!! Also just want to add that the owner only is responding to the good...

Service: We had a reservation and when we arrived the table was already set, with water on the table. As soon as we sat down they brought the bread and oil out. The bread was warm and freshly baked. The waitress was friendly but not focused. She forgot one of our plates and by the time it came out all of the other food was cold. We ordered three scoops (different flavors) gelato. Instead we got 3 orders of gelato with three scoops per order.

Food: For appetizers we ordered fried calamari and the truffle fries. The calamari was a little undone and soggy. The french fries were perfectly fried with the right amount of salt. For dinner we ordered ravioli, salad, pizza, and eggplant parm. The spinach ravioli was delicious and there was a sufficient amount of pasta. The salad tasted how a salad should. The pizza was a little cold when we received it but still tasted good. The waitress forgot that we had an order of eggplant parmigiana. We had to wait 15 minutes for it to arrive, was hot when it came out but wasn’t crispy. For dessert we got the gelato, brownie Sunday, and tiramisu. The gelato (which they got wrong) was fine. The brownie Sunday was warm and good. They changed the way the tiramisu was made. You couldn’t taste the coffee flavor which I...
