Super delicious food. Best hush puppies I've ever had. I had my heart set on clam strips and a baked potato and they were out of both (bad timing on the baked potatoes apparently--they wouldn't be ready in time). So I had fried shrimp and tater tots. The food came out super quick. The breading on the shrimp was amazing and they were perfectly cooked. I liked the slaw too. The service was excellent. The restaurant itself was looking a little run-down but I gave them a pass, as I'm sure the pandemic was hard on a lot of places. And Bowman's has the vibe of a historic, family-owned place so I'm just glad they are still open. I look forward to returning next time I'm in the area so I can get my clam strips and potato! It should also be noted they are cash only! But they do have an ATM inside.
