I’ve been to Yaki Bowl twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic. I ordered the teriyaki steak meal with fried rice, and it was delicious across the board—tender steak, perfect sauce, and flavorful fried rice that hits just right. You can tell everything is made with care.

Both times I visited, I was greeted by the same kind Asian gentleman—who I believe is the owner. Super friendly, warm energy, and you can tell he takes pride in the food and the experience. It’s those little touches that make a place stand out.

Great counter serve teriyaki spot. I got the pork bbq bowl with medium spice, it was just the right amount of food and good mix of rice, veggies, and the meat. This isn’t one of those spots that puts a ton of food in front of you, but instead the quality here is top notch. The pork was done perfectly with spice melded into it without over saturating.

Only thing I’d improve are the drink options (they just have a small fridge with a few bottles and cans). The location is a bit hard to get to, it’s directly off Belt Line but in an area with three other similar looking small strip malls that are all interconnected.

I’ve tried Yaki Bowl three times. Unfortunately, the food got saltier and saltier each time.

I ordered the Shrimp Teriyaki Bowl and the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl.

The teriyaki flavor is pretty nice but it was very salty. The shrimp tasted like frozen fish and had a weird texture. The chicken was seasoned well but had too much salt. The egg roll that comes with the bowl is absolutely THE WORST EGGROLL that I have ever tasted. Each time the egg roll has consistently been soggy, mushy, and literally tasteless.
