Domenick's Pizza House — Restaurant in Carson

My experience in Dominic's Pizza House was outstanding. The service was phenomenal. All of the people who worked in the restaurant were extremely friendly and apriciative of any and all conversation the customers had with them. On top of having delicious foods, the staff is efficient. Only waiting for 15 minutes for three large pizzas and multiple appetizers is impressive. On top of it all; the restaurants vibe was amazing. Decor lined the walls, and three dim lighting gave a comfy feeling in the sizable space lined with comfortably spaced tables/ booths. When we ate, my company and i were supplied with the proper tools to ensure the pizza could be consumed without mess. Everything was clean as well. The staff regularly wiped down tables even if no one had been sat there previously. While eating, my company couldn't get enough of their garlic bread. It paired wonderfully with the pizzas, and we had to force ourselves from ordering it again. Along with the pizza itself! the portions are very generous for the prices even though the place seems like it's slightly expensive. I'd say their prices are very fair for the amount thay is served but come expecting to drop at least $100 minimum. I apriciate everything that this restaurant dose in terms of service, cleanliness and quality...

My friend has been coming here as long as he can remember and loves the Italian sub. So we went today and although the sandwich was good it wasn't great. It lacked oil and vinegar. So I asked for more and they don't really use vinegar. He gave me their Italian dressing. Well it wasn't the same so I'm not convinced. We also wanted to try their pizza since some of the reviews we iffy on that. I ordered a personal size one with pepperoni, Italian sausage (was crumbled not chunky like I like it), black olives and mushrooms. You need to order it well done and it happened to be thin crust so that was nice. It wasn't great but it was okay. The sauce lacked flavor. I'm not talking about more salt on just more seasoning flavoring but thats just me. We also got cheese bread. I would say the bread is the best thing there. Also the potato salad was good but they don't even make it there go figure!! But the best best thing there was Adrian our server. Hands down made the food taste better🤗. We gave them 3 chances in one week (May 2016) and each visit was worse than the previous. The food was excellent the first visit; the service was ATROCIOUS as was the entire visit and everything we witnessed, overheard, and had to deal with. The food was so good though so what can you do; sometimes people just suck. So we went back and it was WORSE. Food was not good this time. New to Carson and hopeful thinking "3rd times a charm" right?? NOPE..... Same staff 3rd visit; complete debacle. We Threw our food away. So in 3 visits: Service: F,F,F. Food: A,F,F. Mind you also we ordered "to-go" and that doesn't take much to impress and honestly we are sitting here days later scratching our heads trying to figure out how they are in business. It's a shame for them because I am hungry right now.... Hope the owners have not gotten complacent and too above reproach to take a look at who represents them, food consistency, and how customer perception determines return business, referrals, and that they lost a 3-4 times per week guaranteed $30-$40+ customer. ...
