Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Centerville

Honestly, I'm not fond of even giving a 2 star as the food just isn't that good, but it wasn't bad. The value is not great given that as well. The biggest issue though is quite frankly, the customer service is really poor. Two times we've picked up food.

The first time the lady at the window didn't even say a word at first, we had to volunteer information without so much as a hello or smile. The transaction process was equally poor and when we asked about using a coupon from their website for a couple dollars off a $30+ ticket, just a straight "We don't accept them here". It seems each location chooses whether or not they accept the company coupons on the website? I mean a pizza and bread for $30 is not cheap, and I'm usually not one to worry about price, but the attitude about it was just rude.

That was our one and only plan to ever eat here until my parents were in town and insisted, so we stopped by to pick up the order on our way and the service really wasn't any better but at least the guy acknowledged we existed after we waited quite a bit for someone to even come to the window.

At this point we won't return even if my parents want it. I tried to be understanding this is during the pandemic and things are harder, but there is just no redeeming interaction with this place to want to return. High prices, average food,...

Stopped for the first time at this location one hour before closing time on a date. Right away we were welcomed at the counter by a courteous gentleman who took our order with genuine enthusiasm. We found our seat and enjoyed a conversation while waiting for our order in an atmosphere that was filled with mild music and Godfather memorabilia pictures. After standard wit our pizza was brought to us piping HOT and smelling Delicious. After cooling down a few moments we dove into the tasty pizza loaded with toppings just as was expected. Shortly into our Wonderfully Delicious meal the manager stopped by to inquire if things were tasting good and if we needed refills, we stated everything was perfect (I don't use perfect lightly). We were made to feel welcomed like we were a part of the Mob lol. Upon leaving I disclosed to the manager we had eaten here for the first time and by far the best tasting loaded toppings Godfathers Pizza we've had in the Dayton area. 5 Stars! and 5 Thumbs up! We will drive the extra miles to revisit this location when we crave Godfathers attention again. Thank you for a spectacular experience. Oh and my date expressed it was the Perfect Date. Thanks Godfathers crew you will always have a special place in my heart for making our date most memorable... Can't wait...

Ordered a large half Hot Stuff/Veggie, garlic bread and a drink. $35! For that you expect some really good pizza. Instead we got mediocre pizza. Toppings are clearly not high quality creating a lackluster pizza. On top of that the garlic bread we ordered was just run of the mill Texas toast style garlic bread you get at the store for a $1 but this cost $6 for six slices. The garlic butter was gelatinous which made us question what it actually was. Not garlic & butter.

Good side service was good. Food was prepared well, fresh and hot. Employees were attentive and brought things to you rather than have you wait at the counter.
