Five Guys — Restaurant in Charlotte

I have been patient with this chain and this particular location, but three strikes and you're done. News flash: Not everyone likes ketchup or can eat ketchup, so when a customer doesn't request a topping like, oh, ketchup, it's usually due to at least one of those two reasons. That said, when I order a cheeseburger with mustard, I expect to see lots of yellow - just as I'd expect to see lots of red if I requested ketchup ... and I'm seeing red right now but it's not because of ketchup. Please don't assume I made a mistake by intentionally requesting mustard, because I might not like that you assumed how I wanted my sandwich. I have been nice about this mistake in the past, which requires missing out on lunch since I don't have time to wait around for another 20 minutes as my meal is re-made. But no more. My husband isn't usually right, but he was this time ... should have listened to him for once! The ONLY reason I did not rate this location with just one star is because the staff does genuinely seem to try ... they just maybe need their hearing checked or to stop assuming they know what their customers...

Normally I dont waste my time on these reviews, but I have to make this known. When I was in the mall the mall alarm went off multiple times, and it really took away from my enjoyment of the mall. But after the first time the alarm went off I gave this location a try. I assumed because of its location that the same quality I get at other five guys would make this location fall to the waist side. Oh how I was wrong! Superb quality of Burgers, as consistent and wonderfully constructed as they are at the location in the epicentre. Customer service was wonderful, and management's ability to delegate shows with how level headed he kept the crew, and he kept orders rolling out. I mean they were on a roll. I loved watching them work, and I appreciated the fact that they got all orders out quickly as soon as the alarm went off, and we had plenty of time to evacuate the mall, and I got to sit and enjoy my delicious burger and fries on the patio in the midst of the turmoil surrounding the fire alarm. Let me start off with I am actually really reallt disappointed Bc I love five guys never had an issue but today while I was working patrol I stopped at the southpark mall location. They didn't seem busy and it didn't look like they had an orders in front of mine so I choice this for quick and easy meal. I ordered a hamburger with extra mayo extra pickle lettuce and bbq sauce with a little fry. My burger was so dry crispy really with zero mayo and 3 baby pickle chips. Their wasn't even enough bbq sauce on the burger to make up for the lack of mayo I asked for. I'm disappointed Bc I spent 10.91$ to get half of what I asked for and cold fries that tasted old. Normally I go and order just a large fry Because I love them so much but I probably wouldn't choice this location again stick to the bigger restaurants. Ps. Staff was friendly when I was there I just didn't have time...
