Gong Cha — Restaurant in Charlotte

All viewers: please do yourself a favor and do not bother getting bubble tea here. This establishment lacks leadership and managements presence. The shop is left to be run by underage children who lack customer service. The children working are disrespectful, unprofessional, and lazy. An owners nightmare. I encourage the owner of this location to take better pride in his business and either train the children he’s hiring or hire individuals who care about what they are doing. The children at this location turn away business customer after customer not only because of their attitudes but mainly because they are lazy. They constantly tell you that they are out of a product or flavor because they do not want to make the drinks. The location is closed early all the time as well. Again any owners nightmare. Do yourself a favor and visit another bubble tea shop to avoid pour treatment by teens. I would love to give this...

This was my first time there and I was not impressed. Ordered the taro milk tea less ice half sugar and mango smoothie regular sugar. The taro milk tea had an odd flavor. Almost like dirty water. Not sure how to explain it but def could not drink it. The bubbles had a nice consistency and flavor unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy them. The mango smoothie had absolutely no flavor. I noticed that they added three cups of ice when making it and then proceeded to add some water while it was blending to smooth it out. I didn’t think much of that but it def impacted the flavor. The environment is cute spot for teens. It was pretty busy when I went in, I ordered as soon as I got in but waited about 20 minutes for both drinks. I...

We first drank this in NJ(once a week for the whole summer). I was so excited to find this place in Charlotte. Awesome feeling to have this.

Edit: the more I visit, the more it is getting worse. Taste isn't good as it used to be. Options/customizations are less.

Edit: out if my past 15+ visits, the common denominator of all my bad drinks is the lady behind the counter with most pins and white/translucent glasses. She messes up my drinks. They won't taste good at all. Today she messed up two drinks, I'm not sure why she is frustrated on my and messed them up again.
