The food is delicious. Old school Jewish style deli. It's a smallish place, not for big parties, that I could tell anyway. Took a seat at a table closer to the entrance. The server cleaned a table and moved us to a better location in the restaurant. That was a very nice gesture from her. The beverages are self serve as was the complimentary pickle bar. The pickle bar! I love pickles and this didn't disappoint . They had a variety of pickles, sweet, sour and spicy, along with some other picked choices. It was a difficult decision between the corned beef, pastrami and brisket. They have sandwiches, hot or cold, rubens and breakfast served all day. I decided upon the Jewish Cheese Stake sandwich. Brisket, coleslaw and pepper jack cheese, I couldn't go wrong. My wife got the corned beef with omelet with Swiss cheese and potato cakes. Both dishes came out fast and hot. Service continued to be on point. My sandwich was fantastic. The brisket was tender, the coleslaw added some sweet and tangy and the melted pepper jack pulled everything together. This was served with a side of steak fries that were golden brown. I love the thick cut steak fries. My wife's omelet came with thin hockey Puck sized potato cakes that were equally delicious. In the end, this isn't a very posh place to impress your girlfriend, but the food and service are amazing. A great place if you are looking for a Jewish Deli experience.

Food is always amazing. Today was the first time I have entered the establishment. It's a little tight in there if you are ordering takeout but perfect for dine in. Everyone seemed Friendly until I got up to the register. The cashier was acting a bit odd with me. Super smiley chatty and Friendly with the other customers. I told her I wanted to pay for my takeout order and she said yea when it's done. I walked outside to wait as I was in the way of the waitresses. When coming back in I stood in front of the register as she chatted with a customer while he paid and she finished bagging the order. After she was done and he Bagan to walk out I still stood there waiting on her to look at me/some kind of acknowledgement would of been great like she had done with everyone who had walked in. She never looked at me it was almost as if she was avoiding it so I just began speaking. I can't make sense of why whe was acting so different with me seems as if she is judging me by the color of my skin. I'm absolutely disgusted by this!! The lady had sandy brown short straight hair. The side that I received wasn't good at all I'm including pictures. I ordered a extra macaroni salad because I absolutely loved the one I'd get when I would order delivery. The one I got this time tasted horrible. The pictures I'm including speak for themselves you can see something isn't right with the smaller container.

This place knows what it is, does it right, and raises the bar with service and traditional atmosphere. The standout distinguishing factors are the picklebar with a sampling of each type of common pickle with the half sours being the star to cut the super salty meats like a refreshing cucumber but also wash it down with some acid like a proper pickle. I also enjoyed the serve yourself drinks which included iced coffee! The brisket and pastrami on on challah were quite amazing. The tongue my dad ordered was also top notch though arguably too tall of a sandwich for that kind of meat. The challah version was the perfect amount of meat and really made everything have a better mouth feel than the traditional rye bread. The pastrami was ok, but the brisket was world class even if slightly on the drier side. The only reason I put 4 for food was because the cranberry glazed turkey was more like a bunch of turkey with a can of cranberry sauce over it. It felt lazy and was unappetizing to look at and thus hard to eat. This is a wonderful and unassuming deli that does what it does properly, the service is like being doted on, and the pickle and drinks put it over the top to a definitive landmark, special establishment.

Tried once again to see if things improved. Ordered an expensive DD order tonight and the store left my soup on the counter. My turkey platter was dry without gravy. The Brisket was so fatty and hard to eat. They gave me the wrong Bagel. I asked for a pumpernickel one and received a plane one. The only food that was good was the macaroni salad! I did receive credit from DD however when I called the store they weren’t helpful at all. Find another place to go! A new Deli opened up on Evesham Road and that’s where I will take my business in the future. What a waste of my money this evening

In response to the owner

The phone call to your manager was made telling her that I didn’t get the soup that I ordered! I then questioned what did your Turkey platter consist of. I was asking because I received a oblong tin with a lot of turkey in it but IF the gravy was put in there it already dried up because enough was not used. The substitution of the pumpernickel bagel was not ok with me. You had my phone number to contact me on the soup alone but your store and management choose not to do it even after my soup was left there on the counter like I was told. This was the 2nd time I’ve had a issue with a expensive order from your store but I was hoping that this order would be without issues but it was not. Your manager didn’t attempt to take care of anything. She spoke with me and told me to contact DD to get a credit which I did. You are upset because you don’t think I should have written a bad review for anyone to read. Well I also write good reviews which your store didn’t qualify once again last night after spending a lot of money especially after the many food quality issues with the turkey and the brisket, substitutions made by a chef like you stated and an item left on the counter.

As I said in my original review “for everyone to see” I guess you don’t want other customers to know what’s going on with your take out service. If you were truly sorry as you stated in your response to me you would not have been negative in your words. As the owner you should try to understand what goes on when you are not there and not dismiss a customer trying to tell you that these issues are happening especially after giving your store / restaurant a 2nd try.

So anyone who reads this I stand by my critique of this restaurant and advise you to go elsewhere or up the street on Evesham Road to a new place that has many of the same deli foods you...

One of the worst delis I’ve ever visited.

We arrived around 10:00 a.m., and the experience went downhill from the start. You have to serve yourself coffee, which wouldn’t be a problem—except the coffee was cold. They brew large thermoses at a time, and with few customers, it just sits there.

They promote a "pickle bar," but when we checked it, there were no pickles. Just three sad items: cherry peppers, sauerkraut, and pickled tomatoes.

We ordered the soup flight (your choice of three soups), but it never came. After waiting a while, we just canceled it.

Then we ordered the lox platter with one egg everything bagel and one poppyseed bagel. They were out of the egg everything. Instead of coming over to ask what we’d like instead, we overheard the owner telling the staff to just substitute an egg bagel. No one asked us. When the food came, they only brought one bagel. When we mentioned the poppyseed bagel was missing, the waitress pointed and said it was right there—she “didn’t have enough hands” to bring it. Then she walked off without bringing it, so we had to go grab it ourselves.

The lox platter came with a side, and we had ordered fries. Never got those either.

The place was filthy. The pickle bar area was disgusting, with trash and spills all over—there’s a garbage can right next to it, and it looks like it never gets cleaned.

We also ordered lemonade, which came out tasting like water. As we were leaving, we told the manager. He admitted they were out of lemonade. If you know you’re out of something, why not put up a sign?

They were out of basic items—pickles, bagels, lemonade—at 10:00 a.m. Nothing about this place lived up to what it claimed to be. All I wanted to do was leave....

This is the most racist restaurant that I have been in, in years. I went in there Saturday afternoon. I went to the counter and ordered 1 sandwich with 1 pound of Pastrami with coleslaw as the side order. The man assisted me with my order then I went to the front of the restaurant and waited for the sandwich and then paid for it. The lady that was at the register Act like if she touched my hand that she was going to die or something when I asked her for a bag to get some pickles. Then the man that served me brought my sandwich upfront and I noticed that he and another worker kept looking at me strange! and I said why are they looking at me like that. I know I wasn't dress crazy! So I said maybe they are not use to Black people coming to their restaurant? But they had a black lady working so I felt that it was safe so that not why they were looking at me like that. But when I got home and saw my sandwich I couldn't believe it was Pastrami it looked like if it was corn beef cut very thin! So I called and told them that I was bringing the sandwich back. When I returned to the restaurant the same lady from earlier was there she looked at the sandwich and told me it was Pastrami I told her it looks like corn beef cut very thin! The black lady came and took the sandwich back right away and showed the man in the back and he said no give her a new sandwich. Then the lady in the front kept trying to apologize!!! SMH! When I received my new sandwich if you saw the difference in the meat it was unbelievable and unacceptable! I didn't know that Racism still existed restaurants and we have to watch our food. I will never go back there!!! I am so sorry that I didn't take a picture of...
