Had (I should say, attempted to have) dinner at Pueblo last night with a party of nine before a show starting at 7:30 at the Chicago Theater. We arrived at 5:45 and a few of us ordered from the pre-fixe menu, which included chips and salsa, an appetizer, entree, dessert and two drinks. Alcoholic beverages arrived in a reasonable timeframe (once our server FINALLY took our order), but those that ordered sprite waited over 10 minutes.... for a fountain drink. Did I mention we were one of about five tables of customers in the entire place? We asked three times for our chips and salsa (last I checked, this requires zero cook time), which finally arrived with our hot appetizers and the entree selections for 6 of us. A HALF HOUR LATER, three of us were still waiting for our entree- and everyone else was done eating. This is now an hour and 25 minutes after our arrival. We cancelled our order then had to go through the bill line by line with the manager to be sure we were only being charged for what we were served. There was no apology offered, and this guy appeared to be completely confused when deciphering the final bill. All in all, it was an awful dining experience with TERRIBLE...
