On 5/19 around 12:30pm I placed a carry out order for a Veg. Gumbo at 100 N LaSalle in Chicago and went back to my office to enjoy my food. However, in my first bite I tasted a grilled chicken (confirmed by a meat eater next to me). And I ended up throwing away my food.
I believe there are two ways the grilled chicken fell into my food.
Though, I never asked for the grilled chicken I believe it fell into the pinto beans sitting right next to it while making previous orders and when I got pinto beans for my gumbo it fell into my food. Why would you guys keep meat next to vegetarian food items? Don't you care for people with allergies?
When I was getting fajita's for my gumbo, I saw food crumbles in it so I asked the guy if it is still vegetarian. And he confirmed it was veg. I am wondering if the chef grilled fajita right after making grilled chicken and didn't clean the cooking area that left behind grilled chicken pieces and crumbles to be mixed with fajitas. Is this a good practice to make food? This contamination can take someones life.
I want you guys to pay little more attention to making veg food when the only thing it requires is separating meat from vegetarian items. I hope to get better treatment when I visit...

One of the few places in the loop open the day after Thanksgiving. Thank you to the workers for being there, being pleasant, and feeding me.
The food was very good and prices reasonable for the loop. I had the 3 taco meal and tried the pork, chicken, and vegetarian. All were very good. My wife had the nachos. They too were very good and the queso was pleasantly more spicy than expected. She had it with pastor. Highly recommended.
They have the now almost standard Coke product 1,000 options machine. I appreciate the zero sugar fruit flavor options to add to zero sugar sodas.
Bonus points for keeping cholula original and Tabasco Jalapeno green hot sauces available. Also there are 2 pokestops you can reach from here provided you don't...
