This is one of those places that will surprise you. Doesn't look much outside and not lavishly decorated. When you see the bags of masa you know you are at the right spot. All the tacos I have had were great. Haven't done legunas or chicarron. Rest are a+. Pupusas are made to order like all the items. Very good and the picked vegetables with them add that extra touch. Read moreThe papusas were good, with the jalapeno having the most flavor, but the barbacoa taco is the worst I've ever had. Ever. The broth was lukewarm and the barbacoa filling was cold. Actually cold, like someone removed it from the fridge and just filled the taco -- even cold it didn't have much flavor. This was disappointing as it's one of my favorites before coming to the area. You should check out their dessert cooler and if the tres leches cake is available grab a slice. The orders come with a pickled onion, pepper, and carrot mix that adds some great tartness and a little crunch. There are also 2 sauces. The plain red one is almost like thin ketchup and just has a bland tomato flavor. The smaller, darker one is like a pureed tomatillo salsa that's loaded with flavor and has some good heat.
