It's an interesting location, but I suggest you skip it. Part dank bar, part indoor restaurant, part outdoor waters edge dining. Service was friendly, but misleading. Prices are above average to ridiculous. Regarding the misleading service, the waitress who I suspect may have been the owner, made what felt like a kind offer for our 9 year old son, who inquired if he could get a cinnamon roll as a side with his eggs instead of toast. She told him yes, and acted kind of cutesy about it, encouraging him to get it. My wife and I were a little surprised but assumed it was someone being nice to a child, as does tend to happen. Nope, not it. She was just encouraging him to rack up the bill. To start, his 2 eggs cost 8.50. Yes, just 2 eggs!! No potatoes, no cheese, and apparently no toast either. Just 2 eggs on a plate. Then we were hit with $4 for the cinnamon roll. This honestly felt predatory, but we hadn't thoroughly investigated the details of his choices so we paid it. Turns out, even though the prices on the menu are plenty high enough for you to easily assume the cost represents platters, much of the menu is ala carte. I got a "jumbo bacon burger platter" that came with potato wedges. Thr burger was wholly unimpressive in quality, and not what I would call jumbo, but not small and a sufficient amount of food for $14.95. My wife got an omelet for $12, which again came with nothing. She ordered an english muffin, thinking it was included, but when it showed up late (omelet finished) and the waitress voluntarily made it "on the house", this clued us in to the fact it was an extra as well. The water tastes like it is coming directly out of the creek in back, so get yourself something else if you can. All in all, I am a value oriented person that is willing to pay for quality and/or quantity, but this place falls very short by massively overcharging for the quality or quantity they are serving. I don't see going back again, although the outdoor dining is a...

Read moreWent with my girlfriend when looking for something to eat relatively late (about 8:30 pm). Upon entering, the inside was unbearably humid. A man who turned out to be the cook for the night (or so it appeared) greeted us at the door to seat us, forehead dripping with sweat. On our way back to the deck, we noticed a chair propping the singular bathroom door open next to an industrial fan. Yes, there's one bathroom. Only one other party was eating besides us, which was sort of a red flag to me. The deck was poorly lit. Plates and cups were already placed, which didn't appeal to me as it was outside in the summer near an inlet. Spider webs littered the dinning area and surrounding vegetation. Tables weren't covered, exposing a bare, rusty, "mesh", metal surface - not ideal for dining establishment. While waiting for our food, a patron from the bar up front, stumbled out to the deck and, completely unaware of our presence a mere 40 ft away, began urinating off the deck, along the side where the kitchen leads to the outside. In terms of the food, albeit being reluctant to eat: my salmon was tasty; fried calamari was properly fried; my girlfriend enjoyed her battered fish sandwich; however, the "breadstick" with my side salad was nothing more than a toasted hot dog bun... In all, I felt bad for the place - Potential is there. The man who was serving us appeared to have also been the cook, so obviously there's staffing issues. The patrons at the bar (4) gave off the impression that they are the regular business and probably don't help in creating a welcoming environment. The building appears old, and along with the lighting, gives off a dingy feel. It's apparent the owner needs to re-think his business model and consider some aesthetic changes, to start... If he cares. I...
